Having seen both teams last year, they both should both do well. Only problem will be that the team that finishes 2nd will be eliminated by CPA in semi-finals of Region. Both of these teams are very good!

Notice they only have one common opponent, Spring Hill. WWH was destroyed and Cascade played them close. Is this game the mismatch you would think with a 9-1 vs a 4-6?

Some of you Giles Co. fans are not being realistic about your team. If you think MC only has 2 players better than yours, you are delusional. Having seen both teams, I think MC will win by a larger margin this time. Giles does not play hard especially the line. Of course neither are in the same class with CPA. And that is not knocking either team. MC is at least 3 TD's better than anyone else. Wish the GC county fans would get off the coach's back and accept the fact that you are having a down year. Not always the fault of the coach. Players have to accept responsibility also.

Who is the team to beat this year?

You would expect an SEC caliber player to dominate but have not seen that from Cam. Chris Walker is very underrated and does dominate in his games.

Having seen both teams, MC has a lot more talent. I feel Giles Co. fans have overrated their team all year. One SEC player does not mean the entire team is that talented.

Listening on radio it sounded like MC got robbed of a chance to get game into OT. Anyone there who can explain why the penalty wasn't given to MC on the change of possession?

With a school twice as big as Huntland, you should have enough depth to overcome a few injuries. Huntland is just better this year than Forrest.

You have hit it on the head! This school never had a plan from the start. They were going to start slow and build but a few parents did not want to do that. They had money at the start to get the field and lights but there is only so much money in this community. More money would help but that is not the biggest issue. They have never had enough quality coaches. Coaching does make a difference. This is where the administration has to find people who are qualified as both teacher and coach. In todays educational climate this is difficult. Can they win? It will take a very special person to change the culture of losing. Losing breeds losing and kids don't want to be humiliated every week. It can be done but as Butch says it must be done one brick at a time. As you said they must start over and do it the right way this time with a plan. Good luck!
