Idiot post of the day ! A player from Gallatins team "69" ran on to the feild from the sideline and blind sided a Smyrna player during the pushimg and shoving. As he hit the Smyrna player the Smyrna players helmet hit the coach in the head.

Smyrna has six new coaches and will have a reconditioned wieght room this week.

They didnt decide to leave after spring ball. some folks just heard about it after spring ball. And there are no dark negative reasons for leaving just opportunities. As for scrimmages Hendersonvill and Pear Cohn. Smyrna looked immpressive against both teams. The dogs have some things to work on but i was still impressed.

Smyrna has some obstacles to over come ,but, they still have a lot of tallent. Dont forget when Steve Wilson was named starter at qb as a soph he had zero experience at the position and they still went to the playoffs that year. And we still have good coaching.

Oops! my bad some one did mention Whitestation. Well anyway these polls dont mean squat when it comes down to the nitty gritty. I was in Memp when we played you guys and I would rate Whitehaven in the top ten. Im worried about Smyrna. We lost a lot of key starters that the younger guys really looked up to.

Huh ? counting you 50% of the previous posters on this thread have shown Whitehaven some love. I would say thats pretty good...I am a Smyrna fan and i would say that the dogs have bigger problems than replacing Bryson. Thompson who has been playing in Brysons shadow will prove himself to be one of the fast rb's in the state. And St Clould has speed and power. Smyrnas problem will be an inexperienced qb and a shortage of big men. But i think the coaches will come through. Also Smyrna fans please join the Quarter back club. They do so much to assist the coaches ,players and concessions.

show respect and you will get it in return. every time a smyrna fan tried to talk football some one from maryville or alcoa would call them a childish name (like idiot ,troll ,ghetto , fat ect...) and yr right it would be nice to talk football with with mutual respect. so go back and find a post made by me on the maryville vs smyrna thread that was disrespectful and post it on here. if it is disrespectful i will appologize for it.

all of those things were said for sure ,however, none of those things were said by me. go back and read the thread. most of my comments to the maryville posters were pertaining to comparing the schedules that the teams played (which really seamed to get under everyones skin) my other post were really just replying to all the alcoa people who were stuck on name calling. all in all it was a lot of fun. the best team won. and i hope we get a chance to do it again nxt year !
