Okay I will agree with you that a player should know if he is on a special team or not, but come on. If they can't get enough players on a special team, once again I reiterate....it lays at the coaches feet. I am all for "circling the wagons", but some times you just have to tell it like it is!

Let's just hope that not many more coaches on our schedule get weekly awards.

Very good observation Riverdaleman. Okay let's tell it like it is......discipline or lack thereof lies at the feet of the coaching staff. I will agree with anyone in saying that Aydelott is a fine person, but he has no discipline in his program. I am not giving up on my Warriors, but there needs to be some soul searching.

It is no secret how you beat Riverdale. You load up the line of scrimmage and make them pass. On offense you attack their corners on sweeps, and by passing. Now with this all said, I am taking Riverdale in a double digit win.

Isn't great that all of us can "predict", but when it comes right down to it we don't have a clue.

Riverdale did what they needed to do against Antioch, but Blackman will be better coached. Antioch had great athletes, but were poorly coached on defense, and not much better on offense. This could be a very close game, with the decision decided by a turnover. With this said, I am picking the Warriors with a 7 point victory.

First of all I am not jousting with anyone. Just as you are proud of Ohio High School football, I too am proud of Riverdale Football. I can recall a 2004 and 1994 Riverdale team that I would put up against any high school team. Just because we (Riverdale supporters) do not agree with your assessment of who would win or lose in a football game against an Ohio team, does not mean we hold any ill will toward you. You have a right to be wrong like everyone else......this is a joke. As for the "dose" thing, I thought you might get a chuckle at it. If I offended you, I am truly apologetic. As for my athletic prowess, I probably couldn't have played for a good South Dakota High School football team.

Your points about the superiority of Ohio high school football are very well documented, however it is an opinion. As for your spelling of dose....it is does. Dose is someting we southerners take to get rid of the worms.

I am not an MBA fan, but I wish the team great success in Ohio. I would be thrilled to see them beat Moeller.

And can I assume by your statement that anyone who would disagree with your assessment of high school football is just a "gushing fan?" How long have you been in the South?

Excellent point. Anyone who could conclusively say that any Tennessee High School Football team would lose to a good Ohio High School football team 9 out of 10 times needs to be in Vegas.

Well that is just terrific. Now I have played a down or to myself, and my playing time extended past my high school glory days. So I guess HOSS, we will have to agree to disagree.

First of all let me say that I did predict a Riverdale win, and obviously I was wrong. I will say that it doesn't surprise me that Oakland was very much improved. This is not a knock on Aydelott, but if I could swap coaching staffs with Oakland, I would do it in a heart beat. Oakland has an energetic, intelligent, hard working staff who will some day bring a championship to Oakland. As for Riverdale, there is a lot of season left, and we have to get back to the basics. We still can make noise in our Region.

Check with any sports doctor hoss and they will tell you the same thing. You have to hydrate accordingly all week. Your body regulates water balance throughout the week. Fluids you consume throughout the week are dispersed throughout body during digestion, respiration and many other bodily functions. I may not know or care who are the best high school football teams in Ohio , but I do know a little about hydration. I thought the kid's name was Woodard.

I did not, but I plan on doing it real soon. I am envious of those facilities.

Hydrating the day before the game will not keep you from cramping. You must hydrate throughout the week in order maintain appropriate water balance.

How about us leaving Coach A out of the equation. We should tip our hats to coach Mcdaniel, his staff, and his players. They were well prepared and very determined. I would also like to commend Mr. Vaughn and his staff and faculty. This being the first time on campus in about 3 years, I was throughly impressed with the campus. Although I am a Riverdale fan, I wish Oakland the best of luck for the rest of the year.

Perhaps your "point" may have some bias. Although I would agree that overall Ohio High School football maybe more competitive than Tennessee High School football. I would disagree with your assessment that there can't be any team in Tennessee that in some years could possibly beat the best teams from Ohio. This logic is as flawed as saying that the Big 10 is tougher than the SEC. How about those buckeyes? Is it 14 games in a row now?

This sounds about right, but I think it maybe 14-3.

I am picking The Dale in this clash. I will say however, if it comes down to mental toughness, the warriors may come up short. I have no doubt that McDaniel will have a good defensive game plan for Aydelott. I just hope Aydelott understands he is going to have to make adjustments in this game.

When I say Mid-State I am not referring geographically. I was referring to the schools not in Metro.
