Thanks for your coverage of the games this year. I work 2nd shift, so without the radio broadcast, I'd miss all the games. Whichever two teams represent, they'll do it with class....I personally hope it's Coffee and Lincoln...Coffee should Dominate next year in their new district, especially with Freshman like Chelsea. If CC has anything this year, it is better team speed than usual. We will be able to pass, as long as Simerly doesn't get hurt....if so we got a running QB too. My main concern is O-line and D-line, not skill positions, which is unusual for a CC team.

The last game of the season vs Cookeville could be huge....last years schedule was brutal for a team of mostly soph...we'll still be soph. heavy this year, but with the returning players and a much easier sched. we should be OK, even with T-town recruiting our players. /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" />

Thank God for Cumberland County..Everytime I start felling bad about the state of affairs at Coffee County I read your post and Warren Counties, and I feel better. Good post, and I agree with most of it. Players and parents of players have no business on here. For the rest us we enjoy the banter, and make good friends on here. Most of the trash talk is good natured, but not for the thin skinned. I know a lot of players who enjoy reading the post, and have enough sense not to take it too seriously. Too bad your not going to check this to see what people post. You might learn something. Some people just like to talk Football, or sports in general. This is an outlet for fans, former players, and Coaches to Communicate. It's like saying TV is bad, so don't watch it........ I'm gonna watch! It ain't ALL bad.

They scrimmaged Tullahoma, a very good passing team, and shut them down. Cookeville has a pretty good passing game, and it didn't help them. I've seen O'land play several times this year and didn't see any weakness on defense anywhere. If Franklin can pass and pass Block against O'land, then they are very good.

I'm sure they'll have a professional announcer for this game. I predict overtime.

I appreciate an announcer who just does his job, and announces the game. You don't hear that crap at College games. Let the fans cheer the team on, and let the PA guy tell us what's going on, without being a cheerleader. Let the cheerleaders lead the cheers. I think we can figure out to get loud on 3rd down, without being told. And don't disrespect the visting team...THAT'S JUST RUDE AND STUPID!

When WE all get over the minority vs majority thing. We're all colored people, just different colors. Who is WE? WE are all just human beings. It's not like people with dark skin are a different species. Almost everyone in the U.S. is mixed race. WE are all Americans....and I for one am color blind, when it comes to skin pigmentation. More light skinned people and dark skinned people need to catch my disease. I see discrimination BOTH ways. Stallion you're obviously a racist. MLK fought for years to end racism, and now the people he was defending are becoming the racist. How about all black restuarants, bathrooms, and buses? How many dark skinned coaches was there 20 yrs. ago? How many are there now?......many more is the answer! It's getting better, just not fast enough for everyone I quess. Let's not use slang words so that this doesn't get ugly.

Congrats O'land....went to the East and showed 'em....better get ready though Franklin's a mid-tenn team.

You should check before you post..what 5A said was Coaches who went to the game thought, not Ooltewahs coaches. He may be from CC, but he is also a big Oakland Fan, as am I. If you kneww anything about it, you would know Oakland is the team we least mind losing to. It was a good game, we lost, end of story. Ooltewah fans are terribly thin skinned, if they can't take a little good natured ribbing.
