If they want to make more money they should let A play AA and then the winner play the AAA champion. I think Union City would have a decent shot at being the best in the state this year. Then we would have a true state champion and the TSSAA would line their pocket book more. And the fans would be happy. I know I would pay to see those games.

Siegel at home wins the whole thing this year. JMHO. Better luck next year my friends from the west!

Not taking anything away from Bud Brandon but his dad sitting on the bench is one of the greatest coaches to coach High school basketball. I don't have a dog in this fight and I didn't even know who the coaches were at WC. When I saw Campbell Brandon sitting on the bench I knew he would come up with some kind of plan that would give his team a chance to win. I can remember him when he coached at Lebanon and even if you had a better team talent wise he had a way of setting up game plans that would put him in the driver's seat if you didn't watch it. Congrats WC. Nice to see a middle Tn. sweep. Better luck next year West Tn.

Dyer Co. is one of the best basketball teams I've ever seen.On a given night Dyer could beat anyone even AAA reams. White Co, was fortunate to get that win. The only thing lacking with Dyer is a true big man but they make up for the size disadvantage with blazing speed. White Co. tried to play with 5 players every game the coach wouldn't give his bench any playing time at all and I told him it would bite him and it did. Good players quit the team because of this attitude.He thought he could win the state with 5 players it ain't happening. Ok I got that off my chest now. Siegel will be playing at home. I will be greatly surprised if they don't get the gold ball this year. Antioch I wouldn't get too cocky.

Outside of Red Bank and Walker it seems their district or region might have been down some. I'l put 7AAA up against anyone top to bottom the teams are unbelievable. What about that Siegel bunch. Did they turn it on at the rught time or what? They'll be hard for anyone to handle now! I think its pretty simple. If Greene Brown and Delaney hit the threes we win. Or Mitchell.If they don't maybe maybe not probably not. I think they will be happy to let Puckett score 20 or more. But if those three point shooters get hot I doubt they'll be very happy.

Walker Valley would still have an outstanding record even at that. Do you know the reason for all those forfeits? Siegel Cleveland? So they're better than their record indicates? I won't be going to the Red Bank Game. Work. Hopefully I can catch a game or two in the glass house.

Did you notice how Walker Valley won all those games only to be upset by Cleveland. I did see that Red Bank beat them late in the year. I wonder if they had injuries or sickness on the team. That looks totally disappointing.For them.

WC played a couple of interesting games at Lebanon and Blackman. I guess it just happens sometimes.

We went to Chattanooga City to a substate game I think back in mid ninties. Very small gym but Chatt City probably didn't have 100 fans and the whole place was full of WC fans. I don't think anyone got turned away.

I was looking at the Red Bank schedule and as best as I can tell they have run off appx. 20 wins in a row. Anyone else notice that or am I looking at it wrong? The White County boys seem to be in one of their little ruts. I hope they got it out of their systems in the Siegel game. If they play like they played Tullahoma I doubt they'll be in this game. I noticed some WC fans posting that Stewart Mitchell needs to shoot the ball more. Yes he does! Coach Mitchell I don't think it would have killed you to go just a little deeper in the bench this year it might not now. You will absolutely not win the state tournament with 6 players. I know you think you can because on one postgame show you referred to MTSU women playing with 6 players.The only disagreement I have with the coach is he hasn't even tried to develop any of the guys on the bench. If two or three of the big guns go cold its just too bad. I'm sure some of you will jump on me about this but it is my opinion. I'm sorry.I'm 1,000 percent for WC. Go Warriors.

Maybe he is a ballhogg. He carries alot of responsibility seeing that the ball gets to where it needs to be. He really makes the team what it is. I'll give him all the credit in the world. But I gotta go with my boys from White County. Hammonds will probably be a big help but I believe WC has a few too many weapons. The trays have got to go in for WC. We'll see.

Maybe if Mitchell decides to retire we can get him to coach the warriors.

I don't see how you can logically say Oak Ridge and Bearden are the best teams in the state. How many teams hve you watched play. Have you watched Dyer Co. Cleveland Antioch White Co Siegel White Station Union City?
