Coalfield played a very weak schedule other than OZ, Clarkrance and Webb I had heard they have been problems down their lately with some of the parents not agreeing with the coaching. But I am also shocked by getting beat by Greenback should had won by double digits.

I have seen Coalfield a few times this year and when I watched the game against Clarkrange it was all on their Coach she just sat there did not coach at all and the partents was giving her down the road I think they might be having some trouble down there might be time for a coaching change. the better teams get better at the end of the season and I agree Coalfield is not. Should be a good game with OZ and Oneida the indians are playing much better now I think they might give OZ a good game.

Coalfield- should be very good next year (IF they learn to play as a team) watch them play some at end of season seems COACHES as their pets some players made to many misatakes and coach never did anything did not seem to be a very well coached. OZ- will have to have a few players step up insteed of Kayla or it will be a long year for OZ. Wartburg -this will be the year to see if their new coach is very good or not to many upperclass last year even Dallas might had taken them to the state. Oneida -very good coach has young team that started playing well at end of last season. Oakdale- very young rebuilding Sunbright- need a better coach young but improving

I think a coaches job is to get his team as far as he can with the goal of every coach is to win the Gold Ball and bring it to his or her school. With that said Yes I do believe a coach has to look ahead and see what their best chances are to make it to State and if it means taking a lost in the District or Regionals to get a better draw then so be it.

If you do not do satellite games you still only going to have 2 games per night like in Distirct 4. I agree all Regional games should be played where no team has home court advantage. But I do not see that happening.

I do not see anyone from this Dirstict beating Oliver Springs right now they looked very good the other night. I understand what 1-3pointer is saying though I do not see Wartburg beating Oakdale 4 times in a season But I understand not wanting my team to lose either. So would you want your team to come in 3rd place in the district and play most likely 2 games in the regional and be done or finish 4th in the district and have a shot at playing a Sub-State game.

First time I got to see either team was last night. Wartburg look very good but I did not understand why they did not put their subs in start of the 4 quarter unstead of 2 minutes left in the game where they making a statement to Coalfield? Coalfield looked very confused on offense and the D last night was a joke some of the kids did not even get on the floor for lose balls and when they made a mistake they did not hustle back I would hate to be them at their next practice. I seen one of Coalfield kids on crutches and some one said their other post was out sick. Very disapointed in the game last night thought it might be a good game but Wartburg is a much better team.

Wish Dallas could still coach because I have heard him on WECO radio and he is a much better coach than a radio guy. Very one sided WECO this year has done most of Wartburg games and he is very one sided.

These 2 teams will meet a few more times this year. They are by far the best 2 teams in the state.

I like the JR PRO if they have good coaches that want to teach all of the kids not just their own. Middle school programs that have the High school coaches come in some during the off season and let their coaches know what they need to work on for the kids to improve for high school. I am not a big fan of AAU most parents can not afford it and that is for the most reason plus you have to give the kids a break or most of them will burn out before college.

A team player does what ever most of the time they are not the top scorer or their name in the paper every week. They do the stuff that make every one else look good. They are the players that work on the off season, the one that the coaches know that they are in the will play solid and do the little things and when they come off the court they are black and blue because they will dive for the ball. I have notice alot of them even gets over look by some of their coaches. I would rather have 5 team players than 1 super star that will not put in the effort to make the team better.

I agree the 5 that puts out the most in practice should start. The problem is now days that the kid and their parents get mad and then the coach will back down because they do not want to make waves. If your best offensive player does not practice well they should not start peirod. This is why the kids now days act the way they do because they no mommy and daddy will back them no matter what they do and a coach making an extr $1500 not going to make a stand.
