I left with about 1:30 left and Beech was up by 18. Beech played the 1-3-1 every possession of the game and Franklin could never get the big man involved. Great coaching and great execution by Beech's players. I am confident that they shot better than 50% from the 3 point line.

96 points??????? Holy Crap. I guess when you are down 15 at the end of the first quarter, you don't get to choose the pace of the game. If this team catches a rythm....watch out. They can stroke it and their sophmore point guard is a match up nightmare.

The City Paper has a good article about the game. According to the article, CPA was up 13 with under 3 minutes to play.

What did Hume Fogg do or what did CPA not do in the 4th quarter? It is usually pretty hard to overcome a 10 point lead in the 4th quarter against a fundamental team.

All I can say is that we are blessed to have a team that is still hungry and that we are continuing to work hard everyday. We have indentified some team weaknesses and are working on them. Hopefully, when all the marbles are on the table, we will be prepared and healthy. That is really all you can ask for.

Way to bounce back East Lit with a huge victory at Hume Fogg. As CoachF stated, this is the first time that the Lady Eagles have defeated Hume Fogg. Brabson and Cowan (alphabetical order) carried the team on their backs down the stretch. -Dirk Koetter
