OH OK MY BAD I DIDN'T REALIZE GLEASON WAS IN 13AA ONE WORD INCORRECT!

I promise you JC isn't worried one bit and if we were back in AA we STILL wouldn't be worried. Gibson County has never beaten a team out of 7AA in the state tournament, 13AA has never matched up well against 7AA when it mattered most at the state tournament and thats the bottom line!

So what does this mean to you GC? Its obvious the pollsters have no clue as to what is going on but i guess this gives you something to "crow" about. In the end the "Polls" wont matter only your performance. Please tell us all again how "all powerful" 13AA is won't you??

Goes to show you how much the pollsters know! Let me see here, Jackson County has beaten C'range twice once AT Clarkrange and they are ranked below them? Not like we needed anymore motivation but this slap in the face might just kick it in a higher gear!

While i do think Pickett Co. is the favorite and they did win the regular season district title they haven't done anything yet. PC will no doubt play for the district tourney title but i do believe that either Clay or JC can beat them. Notice i didn't say "will" but can beat them. Clarkrange is scared of PC so they will give them no game in the semi's of the district and i don't see anyone from District 8A giving them much of a game either so it will be an "all" 7A region title game. Who it is remains to be seen!!

Lets take a closer look at "Just this year" as you pointed out.... CSAS vs Polk Co. they lose by 23 points to a WEAK TEAM how do i know they are weak? McMinm Central vs Polk Co. McMinn wins by 19 points!!!! McMinn then turns around and gets beat by Heritage who comes to the Mid-South Classic (Jackson County Mid-South Classic Champions) and played Clarkrange in the consolation game and got beat by 14 points!!!! This won't be New England vs the NY Giants more like NE Patriots vs UT Chattanooga..... /blush.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":blush:" border="0" alt="blush.gif" />

Believe me the teams from JC and C'range won't overlook them but CSAS won't win either and you can book that! It must be nice to know that if you have a "decent" team that you have absolutely no competition for the region crown. CSAS wouldn't make it to the region in District 7A let alone win it.

That is an out and out lie! Check every post i've ever made i've never said one word about us going undefeated. We play way to tough of a schedule to do that. When you go play teams like Cookeville, LA, Upperman, Clarkrange two and three times a year each, along with going to play the #10 ranked team in the nation on their home floor the chances of going undefeated are highly unlikely. If i remember correctly your own MC team found out more than once what it was like to go down in defeat at the hands of the Lady Blue Devils when JC used to be in AA. As a matter of fact i believe our team that went 25-10 and won the state championship played you guys in the first round and it wasn't even a game! We play the toughest schedule in the state and it shows come tourney time. Clarkrange is right there with us they play a tough schedule and they are very good! ANYONE can be beat dont get me wrong but the teams in Class A in chattanooga are very weak and pose no threat year in and year out...

You don't get it do you? No one is saying that the other team will be afraid to play them! It won't matter whether they are or aren't. My point is that none of the Class A teams play anyone that will help them improve to get to the next level. Its like they are satisfied with having a winning record and thats pretty much it. Thats the only point i was trying to make.

i totally agree with you why waste the gas because the outcome is already determined no matter how ya'll want to "spin" it you have NO chance of winning the games and while i know you guys want to think that you do and rightfully so as you feel like you have a good team. However i will say it for you and the other poster on here, again, the only way the game is close is IF the ref's keep it that way. This isn't Silverdale or Grace Baptist you're talking about here. You can tell Coach Martin anything you want, but i promise you he knows full well how good Jackson Co. and Clarkrange are you can bet on that. These two teams will play for the STATE CHAMPIONSHIP IN CLASS A! Thats how good they are!!!

First of all Jackson County's team last year pales into comparison to the one that is there now. They are so much better with the addition of Laken Leonard and the maturation of all the other girls there. Secondly, Tyner's recent schedule is MUCH weaker than it was at the start of the year so thus the "improvement". While it won't be an "automatic" victory it will STILL be a victory for whoever comes down to chattanooga out of region 4A.

First of all Tyner couldn't beat either of these two teams. Tyner played a weak Columbia team and got beat. Columbia is so weak they got beat by (AAA) Riverdale who is a decent team but even they were beaten by 20 points by AAA Cookeville, a team that Jackson County has beaten twice this year by an average of 18 points. Are you starting to understand??? There is a team in Class A thats ranked #4 in the state called "Westmoreland" they have lost only one game all year and they have no chance of beating either of these two teams in the region if that tells you anything?? Get my drift? These two teams are loaded and just about everyone of the girls on both of these teams WILL play college ball. Any lightbulbs coming on yet??

The problem that all the chattanooga girls teams have is they don't play ANYONE! Come tournament time they have no answer for any of the ELITE teams that come down from District 7A (Clarkrange or Jackson County but then again AA and AAA teams dont have an answer for these two teams come to think of it). When you play a cupcake schedule like CSAS does you can't get much better. They have NO CHANCE of winning in the substate and VERY LITTLE chance of even competing. The only thing that will keep the substate game remotely close is the refs! However even then it will be a 20+ point loss for CSAS. They need to step out of east Tn and come to middle tn and play some of the better teams in the nation. Then you can get better and compete for a state title.

That was 4 years ago when 7AA had one of is very rare down years. JC was way down that year as was LA. Now if Jackson County was still in 7AA it wouldn't even be a contest but they aren't but i'm sure JC and Clarkrange would gladly participate. I believe it was going to happen but 13AA didn't want to return the favor and drive to the UC the next year. TSSAA would never do something like this because if this happened you might as well move Class A and AA to somewhere close to Cookeville because 7A and 7AA would rule year in and year out. Not every year but most years and its a proven fact just look at the history of the state championship and who wins it. Every once in a blue moon there will be a team come out of the West that is good enough to play with the teams from the UC but not year in and year out. Consistantly the UC has better teams and say what you want but the Gold balls speak for themselves. Lets count them shall we?? Jackson County 5 Gold 3 silver Livingston Academy 5 Gold 2 silver Upperman 2 silver Clarkrange 7 Gold balls and i'm not sure how many silver ones Pickett Co. 4 Gold balls York 2 Silver Clay Co. 3 Silver Cannon Co. 1 Gold Does the West have ANY program with more than 2? IS THERE ANY PROGRAM WITH MORE THAN 2 OR 3?? LET ME ANSWER THAT FOR YA ..........NO! Like a poster said on another thread ya'll live in a fantasy world in the west if you don't think the teams from the UC can play with you. Dyer Co. got pummelled by Jackson County, LA played their entire team almost against them so im not sure where you get that they gave them a game. You ever heard of the old saying IF "ifs and butts were candy and nuts we'd all have a merry christimas"? Get real if you think 13AA would send 4 teams to the state tournament in ANY format! On a neutral floor its a 40 point game. CSAS will get ALL the calls in Chattanooga however it wont make a difference. Doesn't matter if they are athletic or skilled at the guard position, C'range or JC will dominate them at EVERY position. I am counting them out by double digits! The only time it will be close is at the tipoff.

So CSAS will lose by 25 at home to Clarkrange and Grace will lose by 50 at Jackson County in the substate.

Hows your girls teams going to come out?

Dekalb Co is not quite on the same level as LA or Upperman. I don't need to check rankings or look at a website where someone says "my team will win" all i have to do is look at the trophy cases around the upper cumberland and know that when it counts teams in this area WIN. Say what you want, bottom line is you WILL have to go through LA or Upperman or maybe both to get the Gold trophy and if you do then hats off to you but last time i checked they didn't give the Gold out just because you say so. /blush.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":blush:" border="0" alt="blush.gif" />
