I don't know which one of you are more pathetic, but both of you need to give it a rest. The girls for both teams that you are talking about played hard, worked their tails off to get where they are, and showed more class during and after the game than either of you have. You went to one game, did no preparation for the game, and now acting like you were the reason they won (Madisonman) or it is your responsibility to make everything right (basketball fan). Meanwhile, Madison girls are preparing for a huge game and Bradford girls are going on with their life and looking forward to next year. You both should learn from them.

Actually basketball only lasts a season. Class (or lack of) is forever. Good luck in the State. I hope Madison does well.

OK...I will type real slow (that's sarcasm too). Yes, I have seen Madison fans and they are great and loud, but it will not be anything that Bradford has not seen before. If you have ever been to a Bradford/Gleason game you would understand. The entire town is there. It is loud. It is rowdy. To say that the atmosphere created by Madison fans is unlike anything they have seen this year is just not a very informed statement. Hope this clears it up for you. I actually really like the Madison fans and glad to see a school in Jackson with that many students that get fired up for the game, which every school in Jackson does not have. Enjoy the game. It will be a good one, but have to say that I am pulling for my Lady Red Devils and expect them to win by 15.

Yeah, it's really quite in Bradford, Gleason, and Greenfield. The fans are very respectable of each other and make very little noise /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" /> Take my word for it---this have seen "anything like Madison's fans"

That said, Gibson Co. is a great basketball team. Totally agreed with the complete team statement. Reminds me of the Russell-coached Bradford teams in the late '90s. You mean the Russell coached Bradford teams from the early 80's, early 90's and late 90's. /flower.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":flower:" border="0" alt="flower.gif" /> The 82 state championship team lost only 2 times all year---to a double AA Westview team that made it to state. Beat the Westview team in the finals of Christmas Tournament that year.

GREAT POST. Very classy, and very true. We all tend to lose sight of the fact that it really is just a game, but the character these young ladies gain lasts a life time. Best of luck to all the seniors playing their last games over the next couple weeks.

Hopefully by a second stringer that wanted to get their name in the paper with that much of a lead? I would guess a 14-15 year old that sits on bench most of the time. I say good for him. If it was a starter that was still playing, then no should not have shot the ball.

It snowed Saturday and it's cold. Main roads and even secondary roads are completely clear and dry. I hear those "thirdary" roads are the problem.

School was cancelled yesterday and the girls played last night, so I can't see why this would be any different.

That is assuming that Bradford and Clarkrange do not meet before the finals. It seems that year in and year out, the best two teams meet in semi-final round. Heard the theory that this makes the gate better on Friday /dry.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=" I know, before anyone slams me on this----It's a "blind" draw (just remember this post when the brackets come out)

Finally got to see Gibson County play tonight. They are as advertised. Butler was unconcious, but what impressed me was it seemed that there were about 8-9 weapons that could kill you at any moment. For instance, Garner girl went on a 7-point tear that happened in a span of minute and half, then another would take over. If they hit their 3's like they did tonight, they are going to be hard to beat.
