  1. What did the Giles faithful expect? Once a cheater always a cheater, and he'll continue to be as long as the TSSAA slaps him on the risk.
  2. If Forrest gets the line shored up, they'll be fine. They have the best stable of backs they've had in years. The freshman and sophomore they have are studs and will be great compliments to the two seniors.
  3. Thanks for the update coach! Glad you decided to go to the dark side, ya know, the private school ranks that you railed against for years. ðŸ‘ðŸ»
  4. When has he not been on the move? He won't be there long either.
  5. Well this is a disaster waiting to happen. I saw two helmet to helmet personal fouls last season that were an absolute joke. So you're telling me, that the men in stripes, who for the most part are terrible at their job and who are held to zero accountability by the TSSAA, are now going to possibly determine whether a kid can play for two weeks on a judgement call? Like I said, disaster waiting to happen if this is approved.
  6. If I recall correctly, Lewis Co. beat the brakes off of Giles Co. and put up about 45 just before O'Connor bolted to Alabama. They also went undefeated and almost beat CPA in the semis a couple of years ago.....with the Wing-T. Lipscomp is another team that has always had success with it on that level.
  7. Was there a more underachieving offense last year than Spring Hill with that talent? Trying something different wouldn't be a bad thing. You'll want to shorten the games playing the likes of Giles and Marshall with their high tempo, explosive offenses.
  8. Considering how well Lewis Co. Was able to move the ball in that region and how well it worked for Forrest last offseason versus Marshall, Spring Hill, Page & Giles, I'd say he'll do just fine with it.
  9. Maybe the great support group can give you lessons in being a good parent and person, because you seem to be lacking in that department.
  10. If you don't know who he is, then you're not smart enough to be posting on this board.
  11. I agree fuelman, anybody that doesn't think he's a good coach hasn't been paying attention. He'll have more success down the road wherever he lands.
  12. You were quoting Johns' stat comparison, big difference! That's not the same as offensive philosophy. Like I said, he's a defensive guy, which contradicts what you said.....tough guy!
  13. Have you ever watched Carson coach or Eagleville play. He is not spread, he had a Mr. football running back with a pro-style I-formation offense, and they hardly ever threw. He threw the ball more this year than I've ever seen, only because he had a stud freshman QB and some pretty good receivers, basically what good coaches do in order to win, they adjust. Amerigha, the more you post, the more ignorance you show. Keep up!
  14. Eagleville has won under Carson by playing good defense, not sure why you think he's an "offensive" guy.
  15. According to my sources, the coach across the river gets the exact same "grass" supplement that the one that got fired got, and then some.
  16. If you honestly believe that, I have some oceanfront property to sell you in Nashville. True, the coaching supplements are the same, the "extra" supplements are not.
  17. Why the butthurt Amerigha? If you want to get mad, you should probably direct that to the central office. As long as the coaches in Chapel Hill continue to get paid chicken scratch, and are delegated as second class citizens in comparison the head honchos across the river, you will continue to see coaches leave for greener pastures. For longevity, you'll have to hire a homer (Coleman being the exception) or an old guy that's in the final stages of his career in order to accomplish a hire that will stick. As for K going to the banquet, that shows nothing but class and that he cares about those boys. Please check your personal, butt aching feelings at the door.
  18. Because they got a coach in there that recruits the entire county. Gonna be hard for a coach to recruit Lewisburg kids to Chapel Hill.
  19. For the record, rocketsrule is a Marshall Co. troll and has no affiliation with Chapel Hill or Forrest High School.
  20. No, I'm a Forrest parent/fan. As far as reputable, "good" coaches are concerned in this area, I've never heard Frost mentioned as one. In fact, every time someone has asked who got the Riverside job and I've answered, it's been followed by a laugh. I don't know the man and I wish him well, but I can assure you nobody with Frost ties or knows his coaching history will be shaking in their boots to face him.
  21. I don't coach, but I've seen his "coaching" at both Community and Moore Co. for their entirety. The other coaches in that region just attained one less team to worry about.
  22. He never had a winning record or a playoff appearance as head coach of Community. He did have a few 0-10 seasons though.
  23. So "until y'all man up and play"? I'd love to play Marshall Co. in a yearly rivalry game, especially since Cornersville punked out and dropped us. Unfortunantly I have no say or control over who our administration and coaches schedule to play. It's a no-brainier to me, good gate, team from down the road, would be the underdog every year, nothing to lose. Again, I'd welcome it. I'd welcome Giles on the schedule as well (don't want goodolboy to get butthurt for thread hijacking).
