Well how did the game go???

Hope this one will be rescheduled..It was a good game when we played last..

Should be a good game..WC looks good and will be hard to beat. But Huntingdons new coach is the assistant from WC last year.. I think he should have a good game plan as to how to play them. The district is really up for grabs..WC has lost one in district play to Dresden, Big Sandy has lost one to WC, Bruceton has had some good games and so has Huntingdon..Dresden and Clarksburg could surprise also. The only 3 teams I do not see competing are Mckenzie, Gleason and Carroll Academy. It really could go any way on any given night.It should be interesting.

This season is going to have alot of ups and downs.....Huntingdon beat Bruceton. Big Sandy beat Huntingdon. Bruceton beat Dresden. Dresden beat West Carroll...What is going on???

I myself am not a big fan..But it does allow a smaller team with out a big center or dominant forward compete. I think it has its good points...

Come on 3 games does not a season make. We have not started off great in the past 3 years.. We usually are playing better after Christmas..We have of inexperienced players and once they get some more experience I believe we will do well.. Give them a chance...

volfan, Who knows 14a is always great. Big Sandy did win one last year and West Carroll came real close to picking off union city. I would love to see it happen for any team in 13a..

I too agree we lost alot last year. And why all the name calling and calling out of individuals. If they are going to be a team you all need to let them work this out for themselves. If the coach did not think an individual should be playing he would not let them play,period. Support the team and stop this nonsense. We have alot of talent this year and will be a surprise to many but not if this continues. They will need all the players including Cox.

bsfan 6322, If you are truly a fan you have to know that the comments you have made are very destructive. This type of behavior is harmful. Coach Armstrong does a good job with what he is presented. Charles Snow can be deadly from the 3 point line that has always been his thing. As far as Cox, he is a very talented player who may try too hard to make things happen but as far as him fouling and making turnovers you are sadly mistaken.He is passionate and tries to do what it takes to win. I think Jordan Melton will be a huge asset if he works hard. Zach Phifer and Sean Suzewitt are improving. Tommy Cunningham, Michael Holt and Dillon Moore are huge assets. We do have alot of talent on the bench and maybe we will have some b games so they can get some experience. But truly if you are a FAN this kind of talk has to stop.

Big Sandy returns 2 starters (Cox and Snow) and their sixth man (Jordan Melton) who contributed alot last year.. I agree that Huntingdon and West Carroll will be up there also.. Huntigdon may have all their starters back but are working with a new coach.. I think it will be competetive between those 3..Anybody know anything about Dresden? Can't wait..

By the way our game against Lake County has been rescheduled for Tues due to the girls game tonite being postponed and played Mon due to the impending weather..

Congrats Big Sandy... The boys played hard and had 4 starters with 20 or more points... They played well.. And just for your information we played Dresden mid January after their starters were back.. I hope we can continue to play well... This is the first region game we have won in a very long time...

Why such disrespect..Our boys have not won a district championship in 20 years..They played their hearts out and won as underdogs..Everyone had already decided in their mind that we would not and could not beat WC..But we did and we are beyond proud of them.. CONGRATS to a wonderful group of young men and believe me no matter what happens in the regionals we are so proud of them.. Plus there are not many schools out there with the small number of students we have in BS.. Honestly I am sure we will be the smallest school in the regionals period.. Great Game and Play to the best of your abilities boys, and we will be proud no matter what...

You all played great tonite..You capitalized on every opportunity...Great Game... Our boys really struggled tonite and we lost by 2...Oh Well, come on tournaments!!!!!!!!!!

I agree we need to watch out for Bruceton, Clarksburg and even Huntingdon.. Bruceton has been playing really well, Clarksburg played us well and Huntingdon tends to control the tempo of the game and slow it down a bit which is not our type of game.. We play Huntingdon tomorrow..

Honestly no belittling was intended..When you are talked about as much as Greer you have to know you will be critiqued by people watching you.. I am just calling a spade a spade...If you look back at the whole post it was said more than once that he was a good player, just I am not appreciative of the type of game he plays..

Whatever, arguing about Greer is senseless... Everyone thinks he walks on water and can do no wrong.. You have to admit he took almost every shot the last 8 minutes of play and many before that.. You are right he can pass but chooses not to...As far as what the defense gives him I think it is what he creates for himself by flopping and falling nearly everytime someone even breathes on him..He whines and cries to the refs all game long about everything... He does this instead of getting back on D.. I think he is good but talked up way to much and not as good as everyone acts as though he is..If he was as good as everyone says he would not need all the nonsense he tries to pull and just play hard and play ball...PERIOD....

Yes we are both 10-1 and we play Huntigdon this week and I think they play Mckenzie.. Hopefully we will continue to play well and play hard..

Yep Greer scored 42 he did not play team ball at all and shot almost every time up the floor..Big Sandy had 3 players in double digits. Cox 31, Foust 19 and Phifer 18..Cuthbertson had many assists.. It was a great game..

Well we did it ! I knew our boys could... West Carroll is no longer undefeated in district 13 A.. Our boys played smart and did awesome.. A wonderful team effort and we could not be prouder of our boys.. Greer is good but it takes more than Greer.. Go Big Sandy!!!!!!!!!

Yeah I heard Camden is having a rough season... It happens... We have a big week this week Tues, Mckenzie away, Thurs, Riverside away and then good old West Carroll Friday night at home.

Well we got by Clarksburg last night..The Rockets played really well and were prepared for us. It was a good game.
