It was a great game. Luz Mena a sophomore for Big Sandy had 43. They fought for every loose ball and every rebound and was rewarded with a well deserved win. It was bittersweet it is always hard seeing the seniors of the losing team at their last game. Always emotional.

Dresden moved last year from 14A to 13A.. Honestly I do not see them being the bottom of the district. They had the ability to do better last year. And all the name calling is really unnecessary. Grow up, and sign your name to a post like that:)

I seriously doubt anything will change but it does seem like a good idea. For example Big Sandy has 350 students k-12 and in our region we have to go against Humboldt, Union City. Lake County and Trenton. I do not know their enrollment numbers but figure they are quite a big bigger than we are

I know SH has taken a bashing lately about sportmanship and such but there are alot of good boys there and I consider Hunter one of them..Congrats on a great accomplishment..

I don't know the last time 13A made it very far out of the district..I know when we won our first round against peabody last year there was talk we were the first team in quite awhile to even beat a team from 14A. I do not know the exact stats on that. WC may have a chance this year to go far. I would say the best chance 13A has had in recent years.

Big Sandy vs Clarksburg our last district game finally being played tonite at Big Sandy it has been rescheduled 3 times now..

I am still undecided at where I am going to go..Thanks for the encouragement, I really love basketball and hope I do get to play in college..

My dad is retired Air Force..I played middle school in Biloxi MS my senior class is now the 4th in the state of MS and as a 8th grader and Freshman I was in CO Springs at Rampart and my senior class is now ranked # 2 in the state of CO..

Clarksburg at Big Sandy postponed until tues the 16th

Greer is an outstanding player... One of the best players I have ever played against, and I have played in alot of different places in the states. The Big Sandy player you are talking about is me (Chris Cox).. and I have never seen this Xaiver Webb play, I transfered here my sophomore year.
