  1. Former Morristown West wrestler Griffyn Broyles will take the mat today at 86kg for the United States Air Force freestyle team today in Colorado Spings where he’ll square off with former Olympian John Stefanowitz of the USMC and former Final X participant Ryan Epps of the Army. Griffyn originally was invited to camp to compete for the 79kg spot but was asked to bump up and wrestle off for the 86kg spot which he won.
  2. I think your solution of screaming at the refs from the table most definitely is not the solution lol. it’s the same with any sporting competition. There’s bad calls. It’s just gonna happen. The refs are human and they’re just interpreting the action they see. Losing your mind over it isn’t going to change anything though. all that said, my opinion on the call in the 126 final is that it was the correct call.
  3. Brentwood maybe. But I don’t see them beating Summit next year either. They lose 12 points but are reloading them right back in. Still just too much firepower.
  4. No sir, Posey is a jr this year. But yeah like i said Cleveland is famous for reloading. I wasn't saying by any means Summit is near the level of being able to take them (if anything i thought this year was the only year they'd have a shot for the foreseeable future). Just replying to the ones who said they're losing a lot, pointing out that they're losing two seniors while Cleveland is set to lose more.
  5. I know i've been kinda homey for Summit this season and while yes they lose Little and Desselle they return 3 of their 5 (Leach, Little, and Savarino) finalists. Masi (4th), McKinney (3rd) and Posey (DNP but was ranked 2 most of the year) also return. I know Cleveland is famous for reloading, but they're losing more seniors from the state tourney this year than Summit. Plus Syzmborski is leaving too.
  6. I posted a video after state duals about the match between Posey and Yazdani that i put up on my youtube page ripped directly from the nfhs stream and it wasnt ever taken down. I took it down the other day for other reasons, but it wasnt ever blocked by anyone.
  7. It was 4-4 in the first overtime.

  10. During that down time we did send kids to the SE Prep Slam in GA hosted by Holy Innocence. Lots of great matches to be had there One that jumped out to my memory was Jason Luster of Kiski Prep (at the time) vs Tj Duncan (McCallie)
