  1. this is hard for me to say because i have only seen mount juliet farragut and science hill play. but i saw collierville last year 3 times and saw some great young talented pitching. i feel the upper bracket is the easiest bracket. science hill is tough with norris but i see mount juliet advancing. for farragut to get there they need bennet and delmonico to be big. a couple of people to get hot and a little luck. being a former farragut player and now a follower ive seen what it takes to win it all and that is talent, luck, a solid number 2 pitcher, and someone to get hot at the plate. i think if collierville has a good number 2 they beat farragut in a close game on wednesday. it would be hard but farragut could bounce back and get back in the championship ala 2006. farragut has some struggling bats at the bottom of there line up. who are mount juliets pitchers besides gross? and who are colliervilles? collierville vs mount julliet
  2. ya 2 grand slams and a 2 run shot not too shaby at all
  3. i know collierville will have a tough game friday night against bearden and i heard they may have some guys hurt. it really comes down to who pitches because farragut hasn't been overly impressive
  4. no a disagree farragut is better than everyone else we drive nicer cars live in nicer houses and just strait up make it further in life both of those two games were not good games but its the teams that face diversity and work through it like they did last year i attended the science hill game but missed the mid week game against wb and the pf game earlier in the game but farragut had there backs against the walls many times in that season and got through it and thata why they were a great team and are getting recognition this year they still have to prove themselves this season though but thats why they are better than you and everyone else
  5. rebel just go on the football message board were you can really talk
  6. i dont know about raw you said sean greenway i crack up when i hear his name but other than him pretty good senior class
  7. farragut is first class in every thing they do not only are they number 3 in one poll but also number 10 in baseball america and if you want proof go to admiralbaseball.com and they have all the links on there home page
  8. note farragut beat bartletts great talent in a great state championship game and if you are from or around east tennessee friday march the 13th come see a great game under the lights at the ballpark at farragut as the admirals host collierville in a good early season matchup
  9. also from farragut steven weaver had a good summer and looking at some naia schools and ellison fitzpatrick from farragut is getting looked at by VIC and King two naia schools also phillip duncan from karns may be looking at carson newman
  10. i think the east tennessee record is 18 i may be way wrong but i know that is the record for farraguts district farragut hit a ton last year i dont think there numbers will be as high as last year because they lost alot of power and play against good competition with great pitching but there numbers will be good hitting into that jet stream out onto kingston pike
  11. oh and pfiefer was shutout throuh 7 against cuba in the gold medal game pretty good, he also had 16 strike outs in the first game of the state tournament when pfiefer is on no team in the state can hit him, well i shouldnt say that farragut probley could oh and in the next game of the tournament cooper had 15 k's in a five inning game in can be in this talk also
  12. pfiefer won the freshman of the year award in the united states he is the number 10 prospect in the 2011 class and the starting pitcher for the gold medal game in the pan american games in mexico fro team usa this kid is the best pitcher in the state farragut faced the siegal scrub last year and he was on the bench after 2 and the game was over in 5 they play seigal again this year on a saturday i would hope to see watson again
  13. cm8 couldnt cut it at farragut so he had to go to webb, webb will be ok
  14. wallace is very good but watch out for delmonico at farragut word he may catch the lefties and delmonico hits the ball better and is a very good catcher
  15. farragut scrimaged saturday and looked alright but not like the number 3 team in the nation
  16. coach sullivan and coack buckner both wish they had the tradition and facilities that coach pharr has farragut has new wood walls up and down the 1st and 3rd base lines and the cages basically get re done every year and the locker room/ lounge area is 3 years old so its all basically as good as you can get it both fields are in top shape but coach sulivan wishes he had the tradition like coach pharr does thats why hes at his camps and they talk on a regular bases because he wants to learn from the best and until coach pharr desides to hang it up no one in east tenessee will have the facilities or tradition farragut high school has
  17. thats why bearden is way over hyped and will be disappointed at the end of the season just like every other bearden athletic team
  18. scrubs Farragut plays way tough d ball bearden doesn't have the tony white or andy fanell of the Past Farragut is a hussle team I think bearden will win but they will get a test and they will realize they aren't that good
  19. if it is this cade kid hes nothing to worry about besides alot of hype that is not true i have seen the kid play and he wont touch the field at third base theres already a cade fellow thats not to shaby haha and 90 please on whos gun chuck holland haha
  20. wow what a surprise farragut kids playing big for team tennessee not to mention powell and cooper turned down the invites haha farragut is stacked
  21. alot of the kids around tennesse have said dont draft me im goging to college but yes back to the first quot harrison eldridge will make a team happy hes a great baseball player
  22. farragut returns 6 of 9 starters with a strong senior class of 15 or 16 kids who could play anywhere and two players that are playing in the sun belt classic where today pfiefer was the winning pitcher and stallings was 3 for 4 oh and not to mention curtis powell is playing with the usa team this summer pretty talented team
  23. 2100 ang half are on th baseball team very big team but everyone one the team deserves to be there
  24. i will just say this oakland will not win the state tournament no matter if they are at home. personaly i think they should not play at home but i dont think it will matter
  25. both teams played well bearden played better at times and farragut at other errors and past balls were a problem for bearden and a few for farragut and both had problems getting the key base hit to drive in some runs but a great game/atmosphere tons of people there farragut needs to pick it up a bit seems like they are slumping and no the blow out win was not a fluke farragut is the much better team when they play there game but gouffy pitched very well hats of to him probley diserved the w
