East Ridge but game will be a lot closer than you think. Silverdale showed last week they have heart and will fight until the end.

They lost some good athletes to the new school East Hamilton. I know there starting QB left Silverdale for E.H. There back up Qb is a small freshman. I think Silverdales defense is whats going to hurt them this year.

Silverdale has one player this year. Aaron Sterzik is the running back/full back. If teams can keep him under control Silverdale wont be all that great, I dont think.

Grace is dealing with way more important things then baseball. LV its not all about baseball. Praying for everyone that was close to the Gill family. Keep them in your prayers!

My aunt called me and said SBA beat CB 3-0 today! Any word about DB and Grace?

Copper got the #2 seed... clear something up about SD sports. My aunt teaches there and she was talking about a lot of athletes are leaving SD next year. So dont count on beating teams just yet.. who knows maybe even Temple can hang in there with SD next year. (except footbal due to us not having a team)

I wrote a post a long time ago about Grace not having any pitchers besides Alec Rose and I think tuesday's loss to SD was an example of what I was talking about. You dont give up 14 runs to this years SD team. I realize errors did cause some runs but not 14 of them.. Did #7 start for SD?

Grace wins both without a problem.. "govols".. the young looking coach got fired? Wow! He seemed like a great guy from what I saw. He must of known what he was going to make SD look good last year and this year SD is struggling. Oh well SD vs. Grace should be a great game and will determine if Grace will get the number 1 seed or not! Good Luck to Both!

DBdad09... I dont care for grace much at all or if any cause I dont like their attitudes and the cockiness but they are good at every sport they have. DB is a baseball school, thats it! Yall football team isnt good neither is basketball. I will hand it to you, the baseball is is legit. Coach Kidd last year pulled the impossible and made them winners. You spoke the truth by saying we all want to be like LV. From one of my previous post when I stated the order 5a was going to be this year. I was wrong. Silverdale was awful this year and i thought they were going to be awesome considering everyone returned except one.. if im correct. Dont know what happened there but would love to know if anyone has an idea. DB was strong like I knew they would be. Grace surpirsed me with how well they are doing but the biggest surpirse of them all is Where in the world did copper basin come from. They popped out of no where and are competing for a number one or two seed.. Congrats to all the 5A teams and see ya in the tourney.

Easy all you DB fans on here. Congrats on yalls big track meet run. I hope they best for you cause i'll be honest wit you.. I like you and i like DB. DBdad09... Temple has never been good at baseball just like DB has never been good at anything except baseball the last two years. So dont get on here saying stuff when you dont even know anything about sports. Grace has turned it around. DB has had some good wins this year. Did anyone else see last week that Silverdale beat CSAS... Grace lost to them three years in a row and silverdale (who isnt good at all) beat them.. Did they loss that much talent last year? I know they lost a pitcher. I was just shocked. My boys from Silverdale are just having a rough year.. what happen over there this year?

Congrats Grace on the big win against DB. Grace looked like they played a heck of a game. Look impressive to me. The question I have is does Grace have anyone else to pitch besides Rose? Cause the last time the freshman got rocked and when it comes to district tournament time you are going to have to have at least three or four good pitchers..

Temple has prob one of the best drum cores in the Chattanooga area! Everyone need to come out and support the Band of Temple.

Defending and making excuses for why yall lost is two different things.. I think Grace are just sore losers. But hey, thats my opinion. You prob cant stand Temple either and its cool man. No hard feeling.

First of all.... The grace coach must of felt like the freshman kid was ready to pitch against DB or the coach wouldnt of put him out there. Yes, their basketball players were still in state at this time and I understand that takes a hit on the team. Alec Rose doesnt play basketball so why didnt he pitch against DB. That is by far Grace's #1 pitcher. So dont sit on here making excuses about how ya'll had a freshman pitcher on the mound is why yall lost. Second of all...... Im not a DB groupie. I bleed red. I know we arent good at baseball and need another coach. Marcum is all basketball. I just see everyday in the paper where DB is tearing it up. We fear DB more then Grace and Silverdale in baseball b/c DB looks more impressive in the papers. DB beat Grace 7-1 and beat Silverdale 12-1 and 12-2. thats a combined score of 31-4 against supposed to be the top two dogs in 5-A. If you dont think thats impressive than your out of your mind.

DB has now taken Grace to the woodshed once and Silverdale twice this year. We (Temple) will be awful so Im not saying anything. But Im impressed by what DB has done this year and they are now in the drivers seat.

a win is a win no matter who is there. All this message board is for is for Grace coaches/parents to get on here to make excuses why grace loss games. Im tired of it. Grace is getting where they are over rating in every sport.. Yes they were good the past couple of years in every sports but the talent level is going down there. Sorry boys DB takes 5A.

I agree that the coaches are jokes.. The older guy is the only one really knows whats going on but he doesnt seem to speak up. The head coach doesnt really coach, he yells out the same play all game. Any team is going to catch on and change their D.

I didnt say Silverdale had more talent. I know Grace and Temple are power houses but still, Silverdale has height but doesnt know how to use it. Last year Grace has carter and pat and they knew how to use them. From what i saw tonight Silverdale doesnt due to lack of coaching. Thats what I am saying, not that Silverdale is a better team cause they're not!

I totally agree!! Silverdale has two 6'9 guys but no post plays... Silverdale's coach should of said post up and go at them. Instead they ran up and down the court throwing the ball around. A new coach would be key for Silverdale from what I saw tonight.

well Grace came out ready to play like everyone expected.. What I saw tonight is that Herman can shoot the ball with the best. I thoguht tonight he shot the ball better then Jeremy Sexton. Grace has those three quick guys that Silverdale couldnt keep up with. Good luck to Grace and all the other teams. Go Temple!!!
