  1. Baylor has to be in those rankings somewhere too. They are good.
  2. I'd say that Rodney Henderson and Hare are definitely the top two seniors in the Chat-Town area. They get my vote for a tie for first place kinda like the BCS.
  3. Dan Wadley from Temple. Two rings on his fingers in the last two years.
  4. Brandon Wright definitely should be in the top 5. He's the number one sophmore in the nation.
  5. ND is terrible this year. They lost their top 7 players to graduation. A good win for a bad Soddy Daisy team, but it's honestly not that impressive.
  6. Definitely your boy Walter Dozier from McCallie. There's no way Skogen could hang with him. As of right now Dozier is starting because of the injuries to Hudson Harris and Joel Defoor. I would have to argue that Seth wouldn't start over Walter on that team. This man is talented.
  7. You're crazy. There's no way your boy has a 40 inch vertical.
  8. Brandon Wright is definitely number 1 and Charles Little number 2. But number 3 is a man by the name of Ayanga Okpokowuruk from McCallie. This man can jump out of the gym.
  9. Who are you guys? What have been the scores to some of your games?
  10. I just want to know why the church league thread was deleted. Church league is high school basketball too. There's no reason why it isn't worthy to be talked about. Just because it isn't interscholastic doesn't mean that it's not also a sport. The logo says "CoachT.com Tennessee High School Sports" not CoachT.com Tennessee Interscholastic High School Sports. There is no reason that the thread should have been deleted.
  11. You are crazy hot sauce. Middle Valley has a cake walk??? In your dreams. This Central Baptist team is a whole lot better than that first centenary team from last year. And I heard that they just picked up a solid player that led McCallie's JV in scoring last year. Evan plus him will be unstoppable. Watch out buddy. December 13th - IT'S ON, Middle Valley Baptist vs. Central Baptist.
  12. The whole middle valley church league does have alot of talent. And Middle Valley is not the best team in the league. You know who is? Central Baptist behind the reigning MVP from last year Evan Shipp. We'll see if Middle Valley is so good when they play the talented Central Baptist.
  13. Just to let you know it was actually 50 yards.
  14. How were Jake Skogen and Josh Suddath not put on the East team and aren't even alternates. These guys are both better than Ben Britt who is on there. Both of these players are definitely in the top ten in the East, especially Jake.
  15. McCallie won by 6, I think.. great game... Round 3 next friday (28th) in the first round of the Region tourny at Knox Catholic, should be another good one
  16. Mocs30 what are you talking about that Josh Suddath can't create his own shot? You think just because he had an off night and couldn't hit a shot off the dribble in the only game you have seen all year against Notre Dame that he can't shoot those at all. Watch a couple more games especially when he is on and you will find that you are wrong.
  17. CCS fans were horrible. That was one of the ugliest dunks I have ever seen and Taylor wasn't even around the 6'7 105 pounder when he dunked and Josh didn't foul him he didn't even touch him. The ref just called a foul because he felt sorry for CCS. What about Noah Newman throwin his shot to the other side of the court. You can't even talk about a block that that ugly kid had because the only one he had was when he fouled the guy in the process of blocking him so it doesn't even count. But yet CCS fans still cheered because they don't know anything about basketball.
  18. I saw both Temple and Boyd play McCallie and I don't know if Boyd can hang with Temple. McCallie did not play near as well against Boyd as they did against Temple. They were a little rusty from the holidays. If Temple has all their players healthy, Boyd will have a really tough time beating them. Boyd's strength in schedule it terrible. They haven't played any body really decent yet besides McCallie. Though McCallie only won, they had a really bad game. Their game against Temple was one of their best this season. Boyd isn't as good as their 11-2 record shows.
  19. None of these guys compare to Josh Suddath. A couple of weeks ago he dropped 55. He can shoot the ball from anywhere and has great range. He is not just a set shooter, although he can be, and he is not just a dribble and shoot guy, although he can be that too. He can knock it down from NBA range consistently in games and is very good at creating his own shot.
  20. Suddath scored 20. The refs really gave the game away. I know that that is a bad excuse, but the over the back call was questionable, and on the inbounds play the guy clearly flopped. He even went to McCallie's coach after the game and told him he flopped. The refs shouldn't make calls that are questionable and that will determine the outcome of the game.
  21. I was really impressed with the Freshman forward BA has. He is lanky and can block shots and jump out of the gym. If he could just put on some weight he'll be a solid player for BA.
  22. Cleveland can't hang with Bradley at all. The only thing Cleveland has is Charles Little and he doesn't look for the ball on every play like he should and also takes plays off sometimes. He is a Randy Moss type basketball player. He can kill you whenever he wants, but he is lazy. Bradley will win by at least 10. [Edited by BigLu43 on 12-1-02 11:10P]
  23. Gomab, I understand the fact that you made these rankings before the season and didn't know that Josh Suddath would be as good as he is this year, but don't go and make the statements that you did. Yes, he had an off year last year and at the beginning of the summer, but that was due to his disfunctional left leg. You try playing with a practically broken ankle. However, I do respect the fact that you said he would jump in the rating, but you don't have to go and talk about last year taking away from what you said earlier in your post.
  24. Josh Suddath #42? You have to be kidding me. He averages 44 a game.
  25. Suddath scored 55 points in tonight's game against Rome. That is a new McCallie School single game scoring record. That brings his average up to 44 points a game.
