Bearden by a touchdown..

I agree with you 100%. We need more parents like you. I have coached in the youth league since 1999. I coached my last game yesterday. Because, I am tired of the parents. After 9 seasons of coaching, I have never had 1 problem with a player. But, I can't count how problems, I have had with parents. God Bless you ma'am.

I am a "Let the players, play" type of fan. I wish the video was at full speed and stayed on the QB and not followed the ball. I was not there. But from what I seen on the video. The linbacker made 1 step then hit the QB. From what I seen and my attitude towards the game. I say, "Clean Hit". Judging by the score, and this particular play, I don't think it made a difference in the game. If anything, if it was so bad the coach got "Fired" up and kicked out, for it, then it should have let a fire under the Admirals butt.

It is a shame how some parents act... I feel very fortunate, with the coaching staff my son has. I trust thier judgement and coaching abilities 100%. I have to agree with you 100%. Devrin Young should be the KIL Soph. of the year. Orangeblur and I took ALOT of Heat before the season started for comments we made about Devrin. I normally do not do this, but in this case, I have to. I TOLD YOU SO!!!!!!!! I will take this 5' 8" 150 lbs. RB/DB over anyone else in the state. Good luck in football and life Devrin. You make alot of us proud.

I clearly under-estimated the Cougars...Great team..I hope you go far into the playoffs. The officiating was the worst, I ever seen. I guess the opinions come from where you were sitting in the stands. IMO..Bearden had to beat the Cougars and the ref's..

This will be my first season as a high school wrestling parent. Hopefully, my son will be able to participate in a state tournament. I think rotating it from Knoxville, Nashville, Chattanooga, and Memphis would be the best thing for everyone. I know here in Knoxville, we have Thompson Boiling and Stokley on UT's campus and The Civic Coliseum.

Maybe, if we could pay a simple tuition, like you guys, maybe we could. The sign over the Maryville board of education reads. "All football players welcome. If you are a 5 star player and live out of zone, don't worry we will pay you tuition. If your are a 4 star player we will pay half. Less than 4 stars pay your own, but welcome." Dude, if the cougars do win. It will be nothing like Farragut. Bearden and Campbell Co could combine thier teams and Farragut would still win. I hate Farragut more than a slug hates salt. But, they have the best Football team, I have seen in 15yrs. They remind of the 93,94,95 Cleveland, Tn teams. I do not think the Cougars know what they are getting into. Bearden lost big to #1 Farragut, I will give you that. They also lost to #3 DB, in a game if you take away 2 turnovers would have been a 17-14 game. Didn't Campbell Co. lose to Jeff. Co? That just lost to Karns. And since when did Clinton have a good program? You have no idea what kind of speed your getting ready to see Friday night. Bearden by 14 or more.

You don't know how many times, I have read the same cliche in other forums. I would also like to add, this is the 1st time, I have had this debate with any Maryville fan. Congrats on your State Championship. I mean that with all due respect. I would also like to remind you. We are in a Bearden/Science Hill forum. Not a Maryville forum. You made a remark, I responded to it. You took offense and I have humored you. No amount of your babble will convince me that Maryville alone produces the players to have a streak that they have had. I do believe if/when Maryville starts playing schools that are 5A now, when the realignment takes place, reality will set in. If/when that happens, lets us continue this conversation. Deal?

OK... Here is where I am coming from...Before the season started In the "Bearden Bulldog" forum. I made some remarks about Devrin Young in a very positive manner. Waco and his DB friends put me through the "ringer" for it. Now it is my turn to pay them back a little. As far as Maryville goes. Even Maryville fans "Joke" about recruiting. Such as, Starz and Barz free trash service. You know as well as others, good Football players from other counties have ended up at Maryville, not to mention Blount Co. players that should be attending Heritage or William Blount. You have the long end of the stick, and good for you guys. I would take full advantage too. But, do not try to convince me that the City of Maryville, produces the players alone to do what you guys have done. I am not bitter. May be a little jealous.I will speak my true feelings. If, I came into a Maryville forum and started sharing my views, then bite my head off. But, you started the "Recruiting" conversation in this forum. So, quit being so touchey and stay on your way.

Never seen them cheat on the field. Can't prove they cheat off the field. We will just act like every thing is on the level. I am going to go cry now...

Unlike many Native Knoxville players. Mr. Young has a sense of loyality. He is a Bulldog.

Why would you want him, Waco? You and other DB fans in the other forums (before the season started) said, "That a little unproven soph. was more or less worthless, and I was crazy for saying he mey be the best back in the state." I will stick to guns and Mr. Young has made them BIG now. He is the best Running Back in the state. *He is at Bearden for 2 1/2 more seasons. He knows if he goes any where else he will not play a down. Because I will break his legs. Ask him if you ever meet him.

Sophmore Devrin Young has another BIG game in this one. I'm thinking a 200+ all purpose yards. Bearden wins this one.

The score was the score..That was a year ago and about 12 games and a 100 practices.. Nobody on the Bearden coaching staff tried to weasel out of the loss. We found out about 15 mins after the game, from parks and rec, that it would be counted as a tie. Now, we did laugh it off. But, noone tried to weasel out of anything. You are out right lier. I will happy to speak to you face to face about this too. I will be at tarlton at 9 am in the morning. I will be wearing green cargo shorts, a grey Bearden T-shirt and a Black Cap with a moroon "B" on it. We will be at the top next to field 5 (Where the game we lost to CBFO in ot last yr). We can discuss it like gentlemen or not...I'm fine with it.. * I like how you try to make out my faults with memory about a game that was played a year ago, is worse than bring in a ringer for the palyoffs. You should be happy we made the mistake and pushed for overitme. If it ended at regulation, you would not have made in the post season and had the oppurtunity to cheat.
