  1. Yeah I'm sure..Umpires (lost)..Coaches (questioned)..Scorekeeper(couldn't hear from pressbox)..players (knew the umps were wrong)..Fans (many, including myself almost got TOSSED!) The whole game was on the verge of a riot.
  2. I saw this last week. Pitch #1..Strike swinging(0-1)...#2 Strike swinging(0-2)...#3 ball outside(1-2) BUT WAIT... umpire in field (standing in short RF) says "I called time out before the second pitch, count is 1-1" Not a single person in the park heard him call time, including his partner, the HP umpire. Absolutly pitiful. When both sides of the field are constantly complaining, guess what... BLUE IS BAD. They missed a good game!
  3. At our game in Lavergne tonight, I saw a bucket for Coach Middleton at the concession stand. You folks in Smyrna and Hendersonville should be very proud of yourselves, I'm sure impressed with your kindness . GOD's speed to all in the storm damaged areas.
  4. Sorry.Didn't know it was that important to ya. Read earlier posts. Not trying to be hard, just don't want to start it back up again.
  5. Inside Joke. if you don't know, you never will. And I'm not upset. Have a nice day.
  6. DON"T GET ME STARTED ON SHELBYVILLE V COLUMBIA !!!
  7. Four games separate top team from bottom team: Welcome to District 8AAA !! Would you expect anything else?
  8. Spring Hill is hands down a better team than Lewis,no argument there, but Lewis is capable of beating anybody thier pitching is pretty good and if they catch a team on a bad day ( especially at home) they can pull a upset. As far as Page being better than Spring Hill I have seen both teams play several times this year and that is the honest opinion I have formed. Skill level, I think Spring Hill has the better bats, and Page has better Pitching, but where Page comes over Spring Hill is player attitudes, several poor attitudes.....not all ( there are some very nice, respectful young men on the squad) but some. You have one severe "head case" on that team that will bring the whole team down. The kid is from what I see is a awesome player all around, would be a excellent college prospect, but not in his mindframe( im sure you know who is is) . Page appears to be focused and playing as a team, Spring Hill has the talent, but its all about me.me.me. as the season winds down and get into state tournaments this behavior will show more than ever. MY REPLY: Dude, to call a 16-17 year old kid (someones child) a "head case" is just plain wrong. Make opinions on a team all you want. But you've have crossed the line here. Continue and I will ask for your removal.
  9. Tullahoma will be fine, they're young. As for LL & Babe Ruth reasons. The curveball tends to seperate players ability more than anything. Good LL/BR players don't always make good HS players.
  10. Seeing the better players you coached as youngsters have sucess in HS and college makes me,as a LL coach feel very proud. But having the #12 boy on the roster, who only played the "minimum" and never played again, come up and talk to me at the local Walmart and call me "Coach" might make me feel even better. You CAN make a difference in a young boy or girls life as a coach, despite what some parents think.
  11. Poll conducted by the Babe Ruth Coaches of Tennessee. Sorry I couldn't resist. /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" />
  12. I would venture to say that "Most" players look back on their Rec./Travel/ Babe Ruth/LL days, and the coaches who helped them as their most enjoyable time in baseball. Games were "FUN" without the constant pressure of having to preform. I know my boy (Sophmore) still speaks with fond memories of his younger day coaches. In most cases, if you coached you've made a friend for life.
  13. Friday's game Columbia v Dickson Co.------Cancelled due to weather Columbia v Page @ Brentwood HS---------- Saturday 4/11 @ 11:00
  14. I'm not saying Farragut's not the best team in the Tn. But, you come across as a poster who would say they are #1 even if they were a .500 club. It gets old dude. I'm all for the fun, just try to keep it balanced. If your gonna dish it out, expect some back. Excuses, excuses, excuses that all your posts consist of lately. Good teams get beat, yet you can't except that without a bunch of excuses.
  15. I want you to answer this question honestly.. If and when Farragut was #1 were they a "JOKE"?
  16. My experience with "Farragut Folks" was a joy. Very friendly, answered a ton of my questions when I'm sure they would have rather have watched the game. But Pablo, well my opinion of him is he loves to pick at others scabs. I know he gets under my skin with the "Everyone is out to get Farragut" complex. He doesn't represent Farragut Baseball.
  17. "Class"? Drop the "Cl" and I would say you're on target!
  18. Come on David..If you beat me, I still should be ranked ahead of you. Signed an Ohio St. football fan. /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" /> Nothing says "HOMER" quite as well as PabloSanchez!!
