Henry Co folks arent going to like this but if NE and HC win last game there would be a 3 way tie at the top!  The first tie breaker in this scenerio is overall wins, therefore DC would be #1!  After a position has been established, the tiebreaking screnerios start over with head to head being 1st tiebreaker!  So since NE beat Henry Co then NE would be #2 and HC #3!  So the only way that Henry Co can finish 2nd is for NE to lose  their last game and Henry Co win their game!  NE is not going to lose to NW!!!

Once top 32 is determined, they are divided geographicly!

I am sorry that my leaving Henry Co off the list may have caused this fiasco but we can overcome! I only left HC off the list because they play in a Middle TN District! They are in Rural West TN! With that being said, here is my list of top 5 Rural West TN teams regardless of class: 1 Jackson North Side 2 Henry Co 3 Covington 4 Lexington 5 Milan This post was originally designed to debate this list, so lets talk some football!!!

You guys are wanting to make it about one team playing this team or how good one team is and they are from East TN! Here is the point I was making, MALIK FOREMAN WOULD NOT SCORE A TOUCHDOWN EVERY 2.47 TIMES HE TOUCHED THE BALL IF HE WERE PLAYING MEMPHIS SCHOOLS EVERY FRIDAY NIGHT!!! That doesnt mean that DB couldnt beat the best team in Memphis. It just means that kid wouldnt score as much or as frequently!!! The fact is, from top to bottom, there are more elite defensive athletes and tougher defenses in class AAA in Memphis than in class AAA in Northeast TN!

It has zero to do with him or his talent! It has everything to do with the talent he is playing against! Much better defenses and defensive talent in Southwest TN (aka - MEMPHIS)!!!

That is because Dobyns Bennett is located in the Northeast portion of the state! He would not have a touchdown every 2.57 if he were playing the 3A teams located in the Southwest portion of the state! Not saying he's not good, but he just wouldn't!

I must warn you, that if Millington vacates the box to stop the pass, they will get a steady dose of Marcus Maxwell (one of the hardest runners in West Tn that can take it the distance) and Adam Craig running the football! I'll say it again, North Side doesnt care how they get to the endzone, they have the ability to take what the defense is giving them. Run or Pass, it doesnt matter to them and they can do both very well!

I saw Adam Craig's numbers posted on the Mr Football post! These are great numbers! Does anyone else in the state have these kind of numbers in 3A? High School version of Johnny Manziel!!! Here are his numbers: ADAM CRAIG (QB) - JACKSON NORTH SIDE (8-0) PASSING-106 OF 156/68% 1580 YDS 10.1 YDS/ATT 22 TD'S 3 INT'S 139.9 QB RATING RUSHING - 80 CARRIES FOR 609 YARDS 7.6 YPC 10 RUSHING TD'S TOTAL OFFENSE - 2,189 YARDS 274 YARDS PER GAME 32 TD'S 4 TD'S PER GAME THESE ARE JUST HIS STATISTICS! Let me offer this scenerio and somebody tell me if this is right! In district 13AAA the standings are: North Side 8-0 (3-0), Hardin County 6-2 (2-1), Brighton 5-3 (2-1). Lets just say North Side loses the last two including a district loss to Hardin County and finishes 8-2 (3-1). Brighton wins the last two and finishes 7-3 (3-1) with a district loss to NS and district win over Hardin. We have already established Hardin beating NS in week 10 so that would make them 3-1 in the district! So with these scenerios if Hardin Co loses in week 9 then they would finish the season 7-3 (3-1). There would be a 3 way tie at the top and NS would win 2nd tiebreaker with overall wins at 8-2. Now if Hardin Co wins week 9 they would finish 8-2 (3-1). There would still be a 3 way tie but in the second tie breaker, Brighton would be out and it starts over and Hardin Co. would be the district winner cause they would have beaten NS head to head! SO if Brighton wins week 10 and finishes 3-1 in the district, Hardin County would have to win the last 2 to win district! Does all this sound right?

They have the ability to take what the defense is giving them. If a team doesnt have the athletes to stop the pass then they will vacate the box and North Side will run it until the defense puts somebody back in the box! The team that will beat North Side is the team that can defend the pass with 5 and keep 6 in the box. What makes North Side hard to defend is the fact that they can pitch and catch it with anybody, with guys that can take a 5 yard route 80, and their run game is an option attack. That normally means a team is going to have to keep six in the box with 2 outside backers to play pitch. Did Hardin Co's starting QB play in this game?

PBM, i respect the fact you have been around and have seen a lot of football, but have you noticed the game has changed quite a bit? North Side isnt going to fight anybody tooth and nail for four quarters! They are going to try and turn the game into a track meet and see if the other team can keep up!

North Side would score at least 42 and beat South Gibson by at least 3 scores! Too much speed! I will admit that SG did surprise NS by lining up in a 6-1 defense cov 0. If they were playing a real game, that wouldnt last long cause SG's secondary would get destroyed. If your playing NS, you better play the secondary soft and hope they drop a couple! If you line up in press 0 against NS and give Adam Craig and company 3 downs to throw the ball down the field, he is going to complete 1 out of 3 for a first down or touchdown! If SG did stay in that D, it would get ugly, real fast!!! Bad call resulted in one SG score!

Side, Adam Craig is their main weapon.... as he goes.... so does N. Side. Covingtion will make a deep run in the playoffs.... at least Semi-finals."
