Yes, that was a great basketball team. People that watched the entire tourney thought that perry co had the best team in all classes. 3 pt shooters and the big man on his way to play for bobby Knight were awesome. CA loss in soccer and football were also to public schools. Funny, public schools beating a private. So it can be done, just not in Maury Co? That is a public problem. One title, along with finals in soccer, softball, and basketball. Semis in football. That softball final series featured 3 amazing ladies that went on to play for the lady vols. The basketball finals loss was to a small town public school, perry county. They have nice collection of state championships!

State championship in baseball, girls playing in championship game today, boys not in tourney only because they couldn’t get past the other A school in Lawrence county, also in the state tourney, also holding a baseball title. Stown softball, volleyball, baseball basketball all have recent state appearances

I'd love to see the A/AA combination dropped. If AA combined with AAA the private school domination would vanish. Not unheard of for A's (public and private) to use 8th grade and female players to fill the squad.
