Wondering who the top teams might be this year in camp. Also wondering how the new coaches at Wayne County and Collinwood might be doing.

I was talking to someone about this the other day. Since 2003 in Boys Perry County is making their second trip to the State Tournament. Summertown made their 3rd Since 2003. Wayne County has made 3 since 2003. In girls Wayne County has made 4 since 2001 with 2 State Championships. Collinwood made a couple of trips in last 10 years. Summertown made a few trips in last 7 or 8 years. Perry County also made a trip. District 12 may be the best district in the State from top to bottom in boys and girls. There has also been a lot of success in football programs in Region 6.

You are so right Bigtymer. What a career and way to go out for the old Sly Fox Byrd. Do you think he will really hang up the whistle? It will be strange to see someone else patrolling the sideline for the Lady Cats.

Have to agree Willard has had a great career but was expecting him to do much more than he has at WC.

Not sure this WC Team will be remembering much about the Alamo. They were playing much better last year this time than this year. This team seems to be taking steps backwards at the wrong time.

I don't know if WC will make it past CA in Round 1 or not. In the past Wayne County usally gets going in Tournament time but this year they seem to have taken a step backwards. Coach Willard's Summertown teams were always deadly in the tourneys but haven't been too impressed with the lack of improvement of his team this year.

Well looks like Franks had the boys ready to roll tonight. The Mt. Pleasant jerseys are a classic story. Hope the guys are able to play that way monday night so they can get WC back to the boro.

That is the funniest thing I have ever heard. I'm Sure the "big wigs" at Green River Baptist Church have a huge interest in Wayne County Basketball.

Perry County, Wayne County, and Summertown should battle it out for the top spot. Out of the 3 Perry is the only one that did not lose any seniors so they get the nod at this point for the odds on favorite. Wayne and Summertown both have a lot of experience coming back but must replace Senior leadership.

Skeeter it doesn't really matter when he hit the threes. He hit nine how many can you hit in a live game situation. As for Hardin County having their scrubs in they only dressed 10 players and are a triple A school with probably about 1400 students so how bad could they be. They played some guys that started the whole way except for the one that fouled out. The bottom line is the kid can shoot the basketball that was 9 threes with only one day of practice so stop hating on Rice and his teammate these guys aren't bad.

Wayne County beat Westview and is much improved in the last week.
