I feel like you.......not knocking anyone down that made it.....was just sorta out of wack...just like the MR.Football went...there are some things that make you wonder sometimes........ but when you express it..people think you are complaining..seems some just hate to hear the truth.I think the Jackets and The Rebels had a great year and again have not been credited by it on this list....

Wasn't rtying to put Cothran on a pedestal for pinning Frnklin....by no means..KKW said Aaron got killed at the Kenwood Classic...that was wrong to say.Last night he pinned Riverdale and beat undefeated Sullivan from Forrest 15 to 2.The only point I was trying make was come Feb....he will be in the running.Bank on it!!!

I thought the All State Team was going to be released last week,,,has anyone heard anything else?

Aaron Cothran wrestled Moore from Brentwood and got disqualified forlocking his hands three times...was up 7 to 1 when that happend..Moore then got 6 straight points for the illegal hand locking.then he wrestled the guy from Christian Brothers which Cothran killed last year twice....Cothran was up 15 to 2 going in the second period..missed a moved and got pinned..was sorta of a fluke and then his last match he beat the gut from FC 18 to 3...this was at the Kenwood classic and it was his first mat time,he had only been practicing for a couple of days coming off football.So whoever said he got killed at the Kenwood classic had to be one drugs.....lol...Thursday night he is getting the feeling back by pinning Shelbyville's 189 in 28 seconds and finishing off by picking Franklins 189 up in the air and laying him down like and egg for a pin in 23 seconds.Just keep an eye on him for he will be in the running come Feb.Corey Dedman and Bobby Martin will be two others from Fairview for everyonr to keep an eyeon as well..good luck to all..

When will the other all state team be released and why are they waiting so long...rumor is they had picked it last week...just curious??

The same thing could be said for some of the Mr.Football selections.Seems some were picked cause there might have been more local media votes for some....The winners were suppose to have had the stats and GPA's..I seen several picked that didn't even come close..this a case in the Coaches all state where as some coaches didn't have the time for their players..plain and simple!

All coaches should have been there unless is was an emergency,but then again most have asst. they could have sent.I think it is more of an honor to be selected by coaches who know the game rather than some sportswriter that had never touched a football......congradulations to all that were selected for this in my book is the biggest honor..

Corey Dedman from Fairview...had over 80 tackles...two fumble recoveries and about four sacks......very quick and strong......6'3 and 270 lbs...

I know 68 very well..Corey Dedman is his name...and yes he is smart enough and good enough to play for Vandy...so why knock Fairview,.....they been knocked for many years now...and you will see several of them carry it on to the next level.......for years to come..don't rattle this big's dogs cage for he will bite back

Lets put it this way...real simple..he don't have to explain anything to you..........I know him better than anyone on here...as matter of fact I know him better than any....I AM TH ONE THAT BROUGHT HIM IN THIS WORLD!!!! EH!!!!!!

I sat here telling myself I wasn't going to write this but I figured why not..I reckon thats what this is all about. First of all...your right ..you don't know him for if you did you wouldn't have bashed the thread. He gave his thoughts as you did on the thread..was they harmless or just being critical??was yours??.anyway what he was saying...."we as in everyone on the stage felt as if they should have won...that meant everyone and thats not bad to say..that is only human...I am sure you were at one time was up for an award and didn't get it but I am sure you was deserving and was hoping you would get it......that group of people you were referring to as "we" and "us"was all that had their name nominated .He simply felt when they..I hope that word is okay with you.....They as in the announcer read the stats it seemed like Everson had it wrapped up but he lost....but nothing was critical to the guy that won it.....if you can read....lol..anyway with all this being said you did get on here and bash the kid and you know you have,that is what brought it to my attention so if he didn't dot all the I's and cross all the T's to your satisfaction I am sure he meant no wrong as far as you not knowing him.........I will share this with you..He has been faithful to the FCA for the past four years...he is active in his church group...he has a 3.6 GPA and currently has a 4.0 GPA his senior year...he broke every school record that had to do with Fairview rushing and scoring..some were twenty years old...he ended up with over 2400 yards rushing....score 212 pts of the teams 300 points..had over 80 tackles..on defense...handled the punting duties as well..so if he sat there and felt as though he should have won it...by all means I can see why...but he did have the balls to get on here and tell Hill congradulations and good luck and I think that was what the beave was talking about... he might not be deserving of the Mr.Football trophy but he is desrving of his pride and accomplishments...so please don't try to take that away!!! I would like to also like to congradulate the following guys from Fairview that made the ALL REGION TEAM 5 AA Charlie Hilgerson....OL Joseph Hudgins.......OL Adam Stinson.........DF Cris Butler..........DF Aaron "22" Cothran...MVP way to go guys!!!!
