  1. I am not sure I would completely agree. In a preview of the tournament in the Tennessean this was their statement: TEAMS TO WATCH AAA favorite: Franklin. Contenders: Brentwood, Collierville, Siegel. Outlook: Lucy Brient's 31 goals power Franklin's offense, which should be efficient enough to win title No. 11. Perhaps the only underdog would be DB.
  2. Here is what the state says on that issue per their website: A tournament squad shall be limited to 22 players. A coach can choose to dress more than 22 players; however only 22 can be listed on the game roster. TSSAA shall pay expenses to the state tournament for 22 players and one coach.
  3. Sorry, According to EurosportScore Board Oak Ridge beat DB 2-0. Just so you have all the facts straight.
  4. Yes, Trenna will be hard to replace. I am not sure anyone said that player in the video hung the moon. Not emulating Trenna, just that it was someone other than Trenna. Sometimes when a team has a standout player like Trenna other players are overlooked, or a coach works their offense using the standout player as the target for offense and when double or triple marked hard to score or get the ball to others. I think sometimes having a player like Trenna can hurt a team just as much as it helps a team.
  5. Yes, two balls she failed to collect and went in the back of the net allowing Oak Ridge to move on and Farragut to go home. So no matter what, there is only one answer looking at this video, Oak Ridge 2 Farragut 1. The point I think the poster was trying to make was everyone on this board is saying Oak Ridge will have no offense this year without Howell and will have a tough time scoring, this video shows that 2 scores came about against a tough Farragut team that beat them earlier in the season, and the only time Howell is involved is in the end with the celebration.
  6. Well, I did some research about this Krossfire team and in May they won a very competitive tournament in Atlanta here are the results on Soccer in College. Also I noticed that they play U17 in all the college showcase tournaments and played very tight games with high ranked true U17 or U18 teams, when most of the girls on the roster were U15-16. Perhaps they did not have all their players when your daughters team and others "toyed" with them. And if I am correct the Lady Freedom is your clubs U18-U19 team. Seems like I wouldn't put Oak Ridge that far out of it. Cannons Spring Challenge Cup May 2008 Under 19 Girls Gold Division X W 3-0 Concorde Fire South 91 Elite W 3-1 Lady Freedom W 2-0 Afc Lightning 91 Silver W 2-0 Lady Cannons 92 Gold
  7. Did you travel with the team and see every game to make such a bold statement?

  9. 16 Minutes to go in the game when the first lightning strikes. West is up 2-0. They wait it out. They come back on and Oak Ridge ties it up in regulation. We left thinking they would not restart so the rest of the info is from texts we receive. Somewhere with 5 minutes to go in regulation another delay. Also a red card for West. Not sure if it is a double yellow or straight red. Two over times, then two golden goals. Still tied. On to PK's. Oak Ridge scores then West, Oak Ridge again as does West, Oak Ridge scores West misses, Oak Ridge scores, West scores, Oak Ridge scores. They win 4-3 on PK's or 3-2. Not sure how that is written.
  10. Oak Ridge beats West in PK's
