Can he play football at DB this year at all, since he is coming from SH to DB ?

I think that the fact that he is in the 10th grade hurts him,''not for his age '',but because it makes a great player have to wait another year or two to see if he can play D1 or D2. That means another year to get better and be seen,but allso to try and stay healthy. Chris competed very strongly as a 16 year old last year and their were players turning 18 and 19 trying to stop him.

Calvin Johnson of Georgia Tech is 6-5 239 and runs a 4.35. I'm just asking ,is he fast or is he just faster than the average big guy?

Did Jake Suthers come to South and is he playing?

Is he like Chris with his speed?

I would thinkTennessee and South are the guys to track down,but that's why you play them

From what I've been told,it was because he was put behind another player during a spring game and it didn't sit well with him or his family. The reason I heard Brown folded was because of player movements and he felt that he was going to be the odd man out to a player that had never played dogback . The bottom line is,it's our coaches who make these moves and if the kids respond well it's ok.If the players don't respond well,then instead of busting their backsides for Dobyns Bennett,they go somewhere different or put more time into something like school and girls.It doesn't mean the coaches are wrong or that the players are loosers,it's just life.

This is my thinking because this is the best class for the next few years,the point I was making, and we can't watch good playmakers leave from the team and it not start to cost the overall talent .

Throp and Brown would have been a big factor on defense this year.There has never been a Throp that wasn't a good athlete at DB .Brown was a very smooth dog back and Throp would have been a playmaker on both sides of the ball.

This senior class is our best chance over the next few years to break the string of bad playoff runs. The young guys have to step up,but replacing many more upperclassmen is not something the Tribe needs.

I'll answer.The coaches son is a very smart player.He is not gifted with great speed but does get to the spots on the field he needs to.He can give depth to the spot along with Hunter N and whoever the coaches pick out of the rest.My greatest concern is the amount of good players that have gone from the team in the past few months.I've heard that even more, and one or two are very good athletes,are about to take the same route.We had the makings of a contender a few months ago and need every good Indian that's left to get the job done.I hope the players can and coaches can keep the core together for a few months and bring home some hardware.Roll Tribe

We lost two very key people during the spring as far as the secondary on passing downs and over all play and depth is concerned.We should become a very strong run defense with Zack moving to the middle and Numbers 45 and 9 at the other linebackers.The depth will be very key at so many spots,for sure in the cases that guys are playing both ways.I like your take on our passing game,but I've got to see a whole lot more to say that we are as good as south in a drop back and wing it kind of offense.They are very good at this point and if we can get close to that with our running game, it will be great to see this year.

I think we have the Logo at the baseball end and the band Logo at midfield.It looks great except for that . You will have some nice new bathrooms anyway.
