Northwest played in a swamp in Dickson and West Creek played on a muddy field against Clarksville High that evening. Some how the rain missed Paris, but hit everyone else that evening.

Henry Co. is the number 2 ranked team in the state. They are considered for the finals. Just saying on a dry night with a dry week anything can happen. Both teams have a very good passing game and as anyone knows, when you throw the ball 20-30 times a game anything can happen. Both teams have speed, size, and a wide open offenses. This game comes down to who can win the second half. Plus on these nights in the playoffs strange things happen. Just thinking the game will be closer than the previous meeting.

How is Skyler doing? Heard it was the worst break every seen by some coaches! What a shame to lose such a great young man to a freak accident on the field. Think this game may be closer than many think. This time it will be dry field, both teams have dry conditions to practice, both spread the ball, and both know each other very well. Athlete on athlete, but remember anything can happen in the playoffs.

Congrats to the region! 7 teams in the state, with 5 in the 5A bracket. The system is being questioned, but our region did well vs the out of region teams. How is the young man from the Patriots doing today? Heard it was a bad break! Think Springfield has gotten better since the last meeting. Myers has them boys wanting more. Look what they did to West Creek last week. 500 yards of offense, and seems like they finally have the boys understanding what they want. Congrats to coach Myers for his first playoff opportunity. Good job getting a staff together, and motivating those boys. Good things are coming in Springfield.

Every system has a flaw, and every system will have unhappy people. In the old system people were doing the same. I feel records are not the full story. If you have a 9-1 record and played no body, then the record makes you look like a super power. Where as Hillsboro played the schedule from h@%$, and won two games with no respect. Lets see, being 2-8 losing to Franklin, Brentwood, Ravenwood, Indy, and other powers. It is a new season, and records do not matter. Some 5-5 teams played in districts with 7 teams, and 5 were 6A. Where other teams that are 7-3 played in districts that had 6 teams, and 2 were 6A. You cannot say a record makes a team better. If so then Shelbyville at 5-5 may be a power house, but only won 1 or 2 region games. Please, Tallahoma got screwed for playing tougher out of region games. Congrats to all that are in, but records now do not matter, and district titles don't get you to the championship. Last I checked only two teams play December 4th.

Stop the complaining, and just play your games! It should not matter who you play, but how you play the next 5 weeks. I am excited to see that a wildcard could make a run. If seeding bothers you, then maybe we should make the TSSAA revert to the BCS system. Go out and win your week one game, and then work from there. Which wildcard will win their opening match up? Due to the strength of 10AAA, and 5 teams in the 5A district making the playoffs this year. It creates a 1 vs 8 to play each other. I know that both teams are not complaining. Henry happy to be out of the west quad, and Springfield is going to be excited to be in to show that Kelly Myers put together a good staff with disciplined athletes. Congrats to both teams!

Lawerence Co and Boone win. Beating Talluhoma and Crocket. This moves Springfield up to wild card spot as reference to the the TSSAA wild card web site. Congrats Coach Myers! Would be nice to see Springfield play Hillsboro. Way to go Jackets!

The jackets of springfield will be happy to play anywhere! For a young team that was supposed to win one game, and to be on the verge of a chance to go to the dance. The team does not care who or where they play. 32 teams with the same record next week. 0-0 from what I see. However, for this to happen the jackets truly need a Daniel Boone team to take care of David Crocket! This happens and the Jackets do their jobs and win tonight vs West Creek, then all records are out the door, and the new season begins for all 5A teams. From what I see, anyone can win any night in the next 5 weeks.

Well, Springfield is backing Boone 100% this week. Go, fight, and win that game! The jackets will be cheering you on via internet, but if anyone knows if the game is on TV or radio what station is it on. A big Boone win and the Jackets just may be in as the wild card. Funny to see that the clarksville schools and henry, dickson, and springfield could make this new playoff system faulty. Before the season everyone felt this was the week district, but hello! District 10 5A teams Henry County is a contender Northeast is going to surprize teams Northwest may be the black horse Clarksville is the first wild card in this region And what about Springfield, Could their youth make a run if they get in? District 10 6A teams Dickson County is back and strong Rossview is a surprize and the 6A black horse 7 teams out of a region that was once known as a joke. Either this new system works, or this district proves that the new system has faults. One thing is a fact that this region is strong against out of region games. Guess we will see how strong this region truly is in two weeks.
