We've played them twice, back in '97(W 53-28) & '98(W 31-0) as region opponents when we were in the Chattanooga area region('93-'98). Billy Linginfelter was named the AP State POTW(when they did that type of thing) for 1A, for his performance in that '97 game...6 TDs (4 off...1 def...1 ST)

The Friday following the Whitwell scrimmage, we'll be at home scrimmaging G-P. Think there's a 7 on 7 with Meigs Co. at home, the week after the dead period also. And of course more than likely participate in the Maryville College 7 on 7 as always.

Henry's overall record is 137-60 and Coach Kreis's overall record is 165-79...

Greg's 5-0 versus Henry...an I doubt Henry's overall winning percentage is over .886...

Plus, you don't see a certain Region sweep any position very often...QB selections sweep up by Region 2!!!

Guessing this item is somewhat a direct result of what occurred at a Pickett Co. football game this season. A $500 fine that's double the fine for first incident coach ejection...IMO, boo on T$$AA for another possible money grab.

Quarles in his 1st 3 seasons was 35-8 w/ 2 state championships.

GOT MONEY...The best I remember the booster club had them done around 1991 and the home side is maybe 6-7 years older than that. Coaches helped set the visitor's pre-formed slabs to save money. Lucky to have what we have to begin with.

So what's the difference if it had been a 40 yd run instead of possible 40 yd bomb with :30 left?...Nothing it's still 40 yds. And I would bet the few whining wouldn't be if it were a 40 yd run.
