  1. one moment i thought was pretty funny was the 140 pound dance off. as soon as the guy won state he proceeded to pull off a hilarious little dance in the middle of the mat
  2. Ben didn't have it, but he tested positive for one test and negative for two more which either means he had a virus that fooled the jiffy pop test or he was already recovering when he took the blood tests. A player can be restricted for UP TO four weeks, but according to how much rest a person gets they may be able to come back sooner. Bolden and Cottrell may have had it at least a week which means mabey two weeks or even a week out, but if Leonard just got it depending on if he rests he is out for at least two
  3. Coach Chris Vandergriff, previous coach of Halls, used to wrestle for UT. In fact, i believe he was part of the last class to wrestle in the SEC. Does anyone know how the UT wrestling club is progressing? Coaches? Members?
  4. Who are the starters for the DB sqrimage? Is Waggoner going to be able to play and will Ladish start both the lines?
  5. I dont think babcock was starting but he was going to get a lot of playing time
  6. The d-line is looking good, there seems to be about 8 different very talented players rotating in. In regards to offensive line, why isnt Ladish starting, didnt he start last year? Is Ladish being punished for missing last week?
  7. Babcock is by far one of the hardest workers on the team. He will definatly be missed and is in my prayers
  8. I dont know, it really does depend on the player. I think ironman is doing a great thing trying to psyc up the boys. They need to know what the community thinks of them and they need to know as well that we expect great things out of them. Ironman, you seem to know a lot about the team, how was the maxes? Any broken records with Leonard?
  9. 1. Maryville-still dominate team of 4A 2. Halls-has a tough schedule with a chance to get at Maryville in beginning, but win or lose that game they still have to go through Central (not won in 10 years) and West (double overtime last year) 3. West-great team, has a shot at 2nd if they can beat halls 4. Central-even with all the turmoil, central is always a great team and competitior, dont count them out especially with new QB Jock Stinson Powell, Clinton, South Doyal are always competitiors, boys this is a crazy region
  10. Well Caleb Leonard from Halls has a good chance at the gold I think, of course the LaRue brothers are threats for medals, and two who might place if they work hard are Matt Ladish 215 and Micah Bolden 171-160 (injured last year)
  11. Whos the best linemen in the state? Whos getting looked at by D1 colleges? Whos making the biggest contribution to the team?
  12. Powell will have to win more than 6 games a year to beat Maryville /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" /> As much as I love my home community and hope they will win Im going to have to say it will probably be Alcoa if it is anyone.
  13. Jock had a problem failing drug tests at Fulton...is that going to continue at Central, and are the Central coaches going to take the same stand the Fulton coaches took and bench him if the problem persists?
  14. Just to clairify I never spoke a word against Kitts, just Dayton. But considering that what I said might (ok was) fueled by a little personal fire, I apologize for offending anyone. I would like to ask how many people are going to be at the game? Ive heard that they might move the bands out of the stands to make room for the crowd. If thats the case they might have to open up the other side of the track
  15. Johnathan Case #40 from Halls. He is going to be amazing at linebacker this year. Other names I can throw out are Micah Bolden and Ben McFalls, both good linemen
  16. Ill bet he was really dedicated...when he was 8. But full of it or not i would like to remind fellow halls supporters that losing Dayton does not mean we will be crippled on the WR front. I only wanted to point out that we have a wealth of talent this year, while at the same time of course making a joke /rolleyes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="rolleyes.gif" />
  17. Ok ladies and germs, some spots are set, I know, but what about the grey areas? Whos with Leonard and Ladish on the D Line. Whos starting running backs(including fullback)? Is Turner going to have to fight for his job? Come on, give me some feedback.
  18. Dayton was and still is played up as the best receiver Halls has had in years but that is just not the case. Sure, the talent was there and he had speed but he was arrogant and overbearing, not taking practice and the druggeries that come along with football seriously enough (such as weight lifting which was apparent in his small build). People please dont forget that Dayton was one man and this year we have a number of great receivers such as Gresham or Johnson. Besides if Dayton had had any more touches his head wouldnt have fit his helmet /laugh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" />
