Hired as Head Coach? I thought they hired one last year.......Busby I think.....he was from Lewis. Did they change again?

How are things looking . I believe with the talent and experience Wayne has.......this could be that magical year. You have all the pieces in place. Good luck. What is your schedule this spring.......who and when and where?

What is the schedule for Mt. Pleasant Spring? Who and when? How many seniors do you have returning this year?

Anything info.? Workouts ....results etc. Spring games (who and when). Any players starting to step up and surprise? After reading some of the other boards involving some of your old region 6, seems like there is an awful lot of turmoil going on. Hickman and Lewis just seem to moving ahead. Both teams have to be glad that the drama going on elsewhere isn't happening there. I guess both are busy rebuilding this year and keeping their eye on the bigger picture. Good Luck!

Man I sure hope the players don't read al this, could cause division. Fairview has the horses to compete this year, hope this isn't a distractioin. Maybe this will end now........and all can pulled together for the players and forget the differances and opinions. Just look at the big picture.......the players. Good Luck to the players!

How many seniors will Central have returning this year? What I recall this bunch that played in middle school together was a pretty dominate group during those years. I don't know if they have stayed intact or not, but if so, they should do well in the new format. Good Luck to all!

Not again.......I noticed another one of those scheduling comments. Does it ever stop for LCHS. Seems that all I ever see negative wrote about LCHS. If never winning a gold ball is the standard for a teams failure, think of how many are failures. Shame that people only have that comment about LCHS. But guess one way to look at it.........Only one complaint.....not so bad. Reading so many other boards there are teams/coaches/communities with bigger problems than schedules (or Scheduling). So over all LCHS is in pretty good shape. How are things looking? Any idea on dates/teams of scimmages?

When is Fairview first scimmage? Or have they even have one, without a head coach scheduling. I sure hope some way some how they get this settled soon. The clock is ticking.....spring and the season is just around the corner. The players deserve this to be done ASAP. Note: I have noticed Fairview isn't the only one in flux, reading some of the other boards there are other schools/programs in the same situatioin. I hope all can get resolved as fast as they can.......the seniors on not just Fairview, but all the schools in this situation need to get this done.......For the Team.

How many players does Giles have on the roster? Also what is the breakdown of all 4 classes. What is the breakdown of starters, as far as seniors jrs. etc.

Good to hear! After reading so many post putting down LCHS and their schedule I certainly hope nothing but the best for them. They (after reading so much negative).....they have become the Rodney Dangerfield of 2a "I don't get any respect". I certainly hope this year is something special for all involved in the program. A big task has been set ahead of them/new schedule (much tougher than in the past). But from what you are saying DDaddy, it would seem you have the horses, its just a matter of them getting the leadership in place, and the kids looking forward to the challege and believing. They can take on the "so called" big boys and tougher schedule and show that LCHS can play with anyone. I have heard from some over your way about how hard its going to be for LCHS to compete this coming year. But after reading your post, I think they will be surprised.......you do have the players, its just a matter of them "all" pulling together and setting one goal (not individual) and everyone putting out 100% effort and believing in each other! Sounds like a lot of different issues here. Anyone know what the previous head coach is going to do or where he is headed? This is a hard thread to follow, things keep popping up......"head coach resigns" then you read about AD Politics etc. Then you see "Assault etc." I just hope your team isn't being pulled down with all this. Everyone I would hope would worry about the young men caught up in this mess. Maybe the adults can settle it in time. Fairview seemed to be on the rise. Reading the other post around it was Giles and Fairview picked in their District. I sure hope this doesn't side track what the team was heading for. Good luck to the Young men of Fairview.....maybe the adults in power will get this settled and put in the past and everyone can concentrate on football. Again Good LUCK!

As the season gets nearer, maybe you'll start seeing the signs of the senior leadership. With the new schedule I seen for LCHS, it will have to be a total team! Maybe when you have scrimmages you'll see who rises to the top. Seniors will have to get through the rest that its just playing the games, but its winning the games that matters.

Very Impressive numbers for 2A. I am sure there are a lot of 2A schools have envy for LCHS getting that many out. Is the seniors not stepping up this year? Sure have to have the team leadership among the players. If it stays individuals.....not a good formula for success. Maybe in time some of the Seniors will step up. Surely with that number of players, someone will! Have you seen any signs of it yet? Any starting to lead.

Looks pretty on. Would have thrown in Fairview, but with the loss of the head coach, hard to predict how they will do. Lewis is rebuilding this year from what I read, so another hard one to predict. (good coaching though might be the surprise) Milan and Alcoa looks to repeat next year. Goodpasture nothing being better, young but gain a lot of experience last year. AE if they put it together could make a serious run, as is with Tyner. Over all I would say looks pretty accurate. How about any sleepers out there that might slip in.......know of any that are on the edge?

LCHS ever get their schedule yet? Who are they scrimmaging this spring and when. Seen a lot of others posted on here and was hoping to see what LCHS had coming up.

More you read.......the more you think that LCHS might be a surprise. Even with all the loses to graduation!

Based on what I have read on here.....appears Fairview is the favorite of the old 6AA group.

Hard to see any reason why they won't enjoy the same success next year as this year.
