I actually am friends with who you are talking about so not sure where you are going there, but if you truly think the Notre Dame coaching staff will get out coached then you are clueless about football. Fant is a great coach with big time class.

Sequatchie may win but it wont be because Notre Dame gets out coached.

The problem here will be if Howard tries running between the tackles they will not be successful. My understanding is that is what they like to do. Howard will have to get on the edges and exploit their speed advantage.

Howard actually beat Red Bank. Had to forfeit later but did outscore them.

Should be about a two touchdown win for Sequatchie.

I want to win the completion and when I compete I don't bet with my heart. I truly believe Red Bank and Notre Dame are better than Sequatchie. I'm a Tennessee fan too but I ain't picking them to win the national championship.

After watching Jennings go down and then watching Dekalb play after that I beg to differ. Dekalb is not a very good football team. Not saying East Ridge is either but I see them winning this one.

East Ridge has the defending Mr. Football back on their team.

SP doesn't have half the over all team speed Howard does and it took a fourth quarter drive and late defensive stand to win that one. Better not go in over confident or it will be a short playoff run.

Let's be honest. Jackson could have one of the easiest schedules in the state. The combined record of the teams they have beaten is 16-47 and none of those teams have a winning record. They will more than likely get Meigs in first round and get hammered. Forrest will have no problem in this one.

Sequatchie will get either Signal or Howard in first round and would then get Red Bank or Notre Dame in round two, depending on who came in second in that Region.

So Sequatchie secures region title regardless of next weeks outcome.

After finally getting to watch Grundy I can say they do have a few good looking players. But, they are so undisciplined and poorly coached. Looks like another 1-9 year. I hope they can get things corrected in the future.

I don't think Dunlap has played Alcoa since 1988. That game was 24-14 final.

I don't think that is right. If Upperman beats Dekalb then Sequatchie and Upperman is for region title. If Upperman won, they would be region champ in that scenario.

Dekalb is not a very good football team, especially without Jennings. This region is the weakest in the state.

I dare to say Warren would much rather play Sequatchie than the teams they have been playing. I think this game is a toss up. I give it to Sequatchie because of home field advantage.

Sequatchie is having a good year. Polls at this point mean nothing. Sequatchie has been the benefactor of a very easy schedule so far. I still don't believe DeKalb has a good enough team to win this one (Especially without Jennings). I see Sequatchie winning a close one. Sequatchie won't face a good opponent until the Quarterfinals.

Bass, this is a rivalry game and Bledsoe played hard, just didn't have enough horses. IMO, teams defenses are starting to catch up with Sequatchie's very vanilla offense. Bledsoe made us drive the length of the field by only giving up 4 and five yard plays most of the game.

Wingo is a better back than any back Whitwell has right now and he is a Sophomore I believe.
