You guys make it sound like we played dirty all night LOL yes it got a little chippy there at the end i will admit but those kinda things happen when your winning 46 to 7 with 6:54 to go and the mercy clock is running and your starters are still out there throwing 25 yard passes. Thats when number 6 came out of the game 6:54 to go. Im not complaining by any means but that could be a reason NO EXCUSES HERE the pirates simply laid the smackDOWN on us. We were in the game for about 5 min then all HAIL broke loose and it got ugly quick. Its always a show when these two meet and i expect no diff tonight. If gordonsville plays good solid defense this could be one of the best games around. I know SP will try to deliver the KO early and often but tigers rise to the occasion come playoff time. I got a feeling about tonight

Man this will be another headbanger like the first. These are two very good football teams with something to prove and it should be the game of the year. Im just curious has south pitt ever had a losing season ? As far back as i can remember the pirates are always the team to beat. Ive seen SP play about 9 or 10 times in diff years and they always have some great players. Looking forward to friday nights game, anything can happen when these two hook up.

Uncle Dave remembers that game...it was Chris Ferrell's last game at quarterback. He had the worst game of his life that night partly because I think SP was overlooking Gordonsville. Greenback was the team to beat that year and all the media folks felt like SP was the only team that could beat Greenback...but SP ran into a buzz saw that night! That group of seniors had a great career...they came up 1 win short in 85 and 86 of winning it all. This group of seniors reminds me of that group in some ways. They have been very successful on the field and hopefully will add another gold ball this year. Not many folks can brag about having so many wins in a row. i remember that game that year.like u said,they were stunned.wasnt coach conditt the coach that year?also ,wasnt we told that if we done it again,that we would be penalized.it was awesome that night Im pretty sure thats correct cheesecake, conditt was clever and that night will always be a great memory of mine. Anytime you beat a team like SP its special, that ferrell kid was an awesome QB and man they were HUGE ! Gordonsville`s speed won that game and the crowd was electric for 4 quarters. Ive seen a few pirates on here saying SP by 3 or 4 touchdowns but ive also seen the fire in these tigers eyes. It will take our best game to win this one LETS GO BLUE

We had a blackout once at the jungle, the tigers were huge underdogs that night as well. Just before the game started we turned the lights out on um The visitors side sat in stunned silence until them lights popped on as the tigers hit the field to a thunderous roar and proceeded to laying the smackDOWN on them big ol boys 36 to ZERO !!! Guess who that team was LOL Looking forward to a great game with the best 1A has to offer, only way to be the man is to beat the man and the road to glory always goes through south pitt. NO ONE on coachT has gave the tigers more support than croz so some of you people need to relax. This forum is for discussing football and thats what we do. I have not seen any moose bashing on here that would warrant some of these passionate posts, people talk and give opinions and disagree at times thats just human nature. Croz has been on here from day one carrying the torch for the tigers and has done a good job IMO. Some on here may not like to hear the truth, they want it to be peaches an cream. I havent heard one person say moose must go, but when the team tackles like a bunch of girls then people notice and expect better !! Its called freedom of speech and thats why idiots like clakhead can get on here speaking in tongues with all his mindless chatter and other so called experts comparing us to macon county. The tiger faithful that have been on here from the beginning are behind this team 100% and will be to the end, so lets get the jungle rocking this friday and get back on track. I SAY GO BLUE

Times have changed thats for sure but one thing has not, the head coach must be in charge at all times and command respect or the ship sails off course. Not saying thats the problem with moose and co. but if you have a few players disrupting a teams chemistry then the coach MUST address that situation or go down with the ship. Let me say again i support our coaching staff 100% this is just how i feel it should be with ANY team ! Fulmer wasted more good talent than any coach in history because he let um run wild and now wheres he at? GONE... where he should be Ive seen some good things from this team but noway have they played up to their potential yet. Im in agreement the tigers need to make the power running game their first priority and POUND THE ROCK

yep the 1st quarter is where we lost the game letting them run through tackles and not wrapping up. After the goal line stand the boys started playing some football and got us back in the game. Nice call by coach on that onside kick, i thought we had um for sure after that. Congrats to H2Otown the purple tigers took it to us tonight. Keep your heads up blue better days are ahead

Does anyone know the condition of the field in H2Otown ? Been awhile since i been there and curious to know if its gonna be oldschool in the mud or if the passing game will be an option. This should be a great game either way. I dont see alot of points scored in this one im gonna say 14 to 6 Gville. The tigers will be fired up bigtime friday night and ready to rumble !!

Im thinking H2Otown has next weeks plow cleaning they will receive from TC on their minds and may be a little distracted. This could work in our favor defense wins this one

The coaching staff at monterey has scouted TC a few games and has vowed to hold the jackets under 68 this week !!! The new defensive schemes should contain those pesky jackets and only allow somewhere around 58

Gotta give it up to the owls that was a big win friday night over a good team. They could make a decent run in the playoffs for sure! As for this game does anyone know when the lioncubs last beat the owls ? I cant remember one and ive seen a few. Huge night for johnston owls pound um 45 - 21

Great job friday night big blue !!! Sometimes the conditions change a game drastically and the good teams are the ones who can adapt and adjust and just play hard nosed football. I know times are tough but i think if a school cant even put up some dang bleachers for people to sit on the price of admission should be half price. It should be mandatory that schools put equal seats on both sides of the field in my opinion. If the people who run the program at pickett co dont have any pride then how do they expect the team to have any ? The only thing that will keep the jackets under 60 is if hurricane gussy blows through.

That was a good team that beat your tigers tonight, a few weeks ago they beat my tigers like a tied up goat !! Looking forward to next friday in what should be a great game.
