Not to take anything away from Tyner, they are a good team, but the the Tyner Team that showed up in Jasper was not one of the most atheletic in the state. Tyner might be atheletic but they are not in great physical shape. There were Rams lying all over the field Friday night, not to mention a ref or two as well. By the end of the night those Rams were more like Lambs and knew they had been hit and hit hard.

GREAT JOB MEN!!! Congradulations to Coach Boeck and the Warrior Coaching staff. It was a great game, great atmosphere with great fans. Tyners band was smaller that in the past but man they can put on a show!! Tyner took some licks tonight...EARHOLED I think would be the word used before...........there will be some sore Rams in the morning..... Go Warriors!!!!! Whitwell is next...

Yep I went south to the NJ-Scottsboro game but that don't mean I am a fan of either..does that mean you are a Tyner or Marion fan since you are coming to Jasper. Your just coming to the game so on Friday night you can have something or someone to poke fun at and point out all the mistakes....you know "rattle a few cages." Let the Warriors and the Rams have their thread and you go to yours and talk about how your gonna kill who ever you are playing this week. There is no reason for any SP folks to be on these threads talking smack. You have proved your point that you were the better team aganist us...so what more to you want?? Just remember what you are dishing out cause when the Ram Train starts rolling aganist SP and they beat you......you will be hearing from the MC fans..and you will have to take it like a Man..even if your not one. We had the "honor" of seeing him last week when he made a trip to see the dedication of Mr. Bill Baker's Plaza at the stadium. For some reason he didn't have the parade of knee crawlers begging him back like he has been acustom to in the past. WHOPPER, I guess I will be seeing you are the game??? Well Bucs I think you got more than you bargained for tonight. Our boys came out ready to play and playing their guts out all night long. You should hold your heads high, this is not the team that the Bucs thought they were going to be playing tonight. Now we have to move on and look to next week and take it one week at a time, playing one game at a time. I know that Coach Boeck will be crucified for going for 2 and trying for the win instead of the tie but like someone posted earlier, he had confidence in his O that they could do the job. They can, but just came up short tonight. If he had went for the FG then some would have griped about that...u can't please us all. These guys need to hear from the fans that they did well, give them the praise they deserve and leave the lectures to the Coaches. My heart was broken tonight looking into the faces of some of these young men. They wanted this win so bad not only to prove it to themselves but to prove to us fans that they can win games. I'm not as close to some of these young men like I have been in the past but 2 of them I have been around since they were ugly, skinny middle school kids...(now they are ugly, skinny high school kids...lol) and I want you both to know that I love you dearly, each in my own special way. I would do anything for either one of you and if it means wipeing sweat or tears after a game then I will be there every game to do so for you. I hope you know who you are....... LET ME REPEAT MY SELF.......ALL THE NEWS SAID WAS THAT SOMEONE HAD BEEN SHOT,,,,,,,,I did not know the time or that all of SP was aware of it. If I was going to put the town down then I could have come up a post that would have done so. Not EVERYONE is a jackarce.....but I can be one if I have to be. Excuse me there Drunk, but as I was sitting here reading all of this nonsense I saw it on the news, I had no idea that a kid had accidentally shot himself, the news didn't report that. Sorry that I took time away from your precious post. I hope that child is ok and will pray for him. If we can post about our footballplayers and their injuries then we should be able to post this unfortunate event and wish this family only the best for their child...it is a community you know and when one hurts we should all hurt.

WHOW 20 PAGES!!! Is this a Coach T record??? I have sat here today and read 20 pages of men and women hashing out who will beat who in 9 days,( by page 10 I just kind of skimmed them, it seems to be a repeat over and over and over.....).I know that we are all passionate about our football teams and what to support our schools but keep in mind that these are kids and we are the adults, lets kind of act like it. SP is having their glory days just like MC had in the 90's. It kind of comes like the rain, some years you have an abundant and some years it's dry as a bone...MC has been in the dry area for quite some time but things seem to be looking up and this may be the year our dry spell finally gets some much needed showers. With those showers these kids will grow and their confidence will build. I think confidence is what has been lacking for so many years. Kind of like when we are raising our kids and we keep telling them when they are little "you can't do that" and when they hear it for so long they begin to believe it. I think this year our kids will hear " You can do this", they will believe it and they will succeed, they may not go 10-0 but I think we will see alot of improvement over the past few years. I wish both teams the best of luck to stay injury free for the season. I hope that this game is a fan controlled game, people get so wound up and personally it scares me, so Adults lets act like Adults and make this a safe and fun event for all.....I myself will be heading south to watch another area rivalery and will pass on this game...
