Roy Dillard the Warrior football team asked me to thank you for the Fudge Rounds that you dropped off in the office today at MCHS. I was impressed with your generosity in purchasing the giant ones. It may give us the extra energy to win that Gold ball..awful sweet of you. Also, that Murphy man called this week..he's a really nice man and it was a pleasure to talk to him. I told him that I read a lot about him and his friend Roy Dillard on this site...it got real quiet and we lost connection. I guess he got busy or something. Anyway, thanks for the Fudge Rounds.

Wanted to let everyone know that Ms Kennedy Griffith is HOME!!!! She came in Wednesday and is doing great! She told Mark she is just glad to be home and in her bed. Contiune to pray for her and the family. Sometime after her birthday she will be starting 24 weeks of cemo. God is good...all the time!

Please continue to lift Kennedy, Mark and the entire family up in prayer. As of late last night the surgery schedule for today had been postponed once again due to her levels being low. Kennedy is a remarkable young lady who has faced more trials and tribulations at such a young age than some of us as adults will ever face but still continues to keep her faith strong in our Savior.

Glad to see that us Warrior supporters have been missed...some of us have been busy with work and family but keeping up with the Warriors without the need to post it here. This season could go either way. We are young and as usual there is always room for improvement. No matter the season, I will be there supporting my kids.

With the weather postponing so many games across the state this year, will everyone try to fit them in over the next two weeks? It would be nice if TSSAA would extend the regular season for one more week so that many schools are not playing 4-5 games a week.

Marion County defeated Grundy Thursday night in double overtime 70-68. Good game by both teams with lots of fan interaction. Officials did a good job of letting the boys play the game. Hope everyone made it home safely with minimal/no hail damage...

Yep sounds like the same CCS we played.....and maybe the same officals..

Don't know about growth but I think you are already seeing it in the Jasper Elementary school. I think they have around 700+ kids, take into account when people send some of their kids to jasper middle school from SP and you could have over 800. You are right TTp..we are busting at the seams in JES with approx 750 kids in the school and no empty rooms to make new classes..heck Cookie and Charlie have had to give up closet space to make room for teaching areas. If this continues I am afraid we might be looking at zoning in the near future..folks might want to start making that move now. Some one posted that the numbers were down at MCHS...if they are it can't be by much..most classes have between 25-30 per class and some are exceeding 30. I am concered about JMS and if they will be able to hold all these kids that will be headed that way in 2011. And you know my feelings about the consolidation issue..

Don't worry Roy these boys started getting ready for this game when they stepped off the bus at midnight last Friday night. From talking to some of the boys its been a good week of pratice. Coach B and the staff will have these young men focused and ready to play the Bucs.
