  1. Thats why they could be in trouble, hope not though good luck this week! I sure hope they play good, but it's Gatlinburg week in little league
  2. No clue, I know absolutely nothing about Meigs
  3. Congrats to the Tigers for a huge win tonight at Grainger.....Another big night for Chase Travis 27 carries for 342 yards and 4 touchdowns.....
  4. I said this last year when this same bs started and I will say it again....I will support this program and everything and everyone involved with it as long as it is around. Every program has its "fairweather fans" and whatnot and I would suppose those people will show up for the Gatlinburg game and not care what happens the rest of the year. The kids that chose to stick out the entire year after the big mess during spring practice have my upmost respect and I hope they do well. I would like to see the program improve tho and that will only come with student athletes and their parents supporting the entire program and not supporting it only when they have something to gain. Hope to see alot of ya'll at Grainger on Friday night
  5. From what I was told there is no true lifting program until the students begin their sophmore years and that is part of the problem. Our line isn't strong enough to hold off the much bigger lineman either due to physically weak or poor coaching. We had a cpl of really nice and impressive drives last night against Fulton that ended in fumbles or costly mental screwups. If you want to see the future of PF football, you need to come and watch the Pee Wee's play tonight at home around 7:15
  6. It's amazing that we will continually waste one talent by not getting him the ball or around the ball on defense by having him play safety at 30 yards deep seemingly.....
  7. Congrats to the Tigers on a well played game and to Chase Travis for probably well over 200 yards and 4 tds.....
  8. It's gameday and last years game was a great one up in the valley.....I look for the same tonight, and hopefully we will know how many timeouts they have left at some points....Lets go Tigers ... PF 23 Cosby 21
  9. I do have something to do with the community, and I just keep thinking this same thought..... We have lost with every coach that has come in and the same assistants have been in place for all of those head coaches....Granted there is one or two that I would want to stay around, but I wish they would let the head man hire his own staff....
  10. Hope so, it was good seeing the offense roll like it use to back in the day last Friday night.....It was a very solid game other than the aforementioned kick coverage or lack there of.....Good luck tonight Smoky Bears
  11. Sevier County needs to do something about their kick coverage tho, or someone will torch them alot this year
  12. It is true.....I don't have a clue, but it certainly sickens me to no end and really would like to hear what Lee has to say about the situation. I am guessing it will come out that he was only joking around or whatever, but even joking around that is sick as all get out. He is no longer on the staff or working for the school thankfully.....Hopefully this wont kill the kids moral for tomorrow nights game or season.
  13. Ah heck, you know I am still here....Excited about the first contest tomorrow down in Greenback.....Actually the freshman is a QB and a a very good one at that....Hopefully things can start turning around...Lots of new faces in the coaching staff and some new talent this year....Guess we will see come tomorrow night
  14. I saw a feature this past week on PrepExtra about one of the Seymour players. I believe he is a RB/LB and one of the better players for the Eagles. If I'm not mistaken, they said he had broken some fingers and would miss the first couple of games. Has anyone heard more about this? His name is Keegan Newport and he does have a few broken fingers and is out for a while, but if they dont hold onto the football better than what they did last week its not gonna matter.
  15. As much as I'd love to say everything posted is fact I can't. We will have a good ball team but class of the county? Come on now, we lose alot of our leaders and have alot of young players that will have to develop on both sides of the ball. I like what Mitchell has brought to the table as play caller for us now and think we will have a better mixture of plays next year. A good season next year will be .500 and possibly playoffs, I use to go in thinking "Hey lets go set the world on fire", but small gains and improvements are good enough for me now..
  16. I was very impressed with the fight you guys put up last night at Pigeon Forge against our Tigers...It was a great ballgame and you should all be proud of the effort that you give...
  17. 4-3 in sudden death shootout... Game ended 1-1, went through all the overtimes and PF won on the last shooter in the shootout.
  18. The Tigers travel down to take on Gibbs Friday night in the battle for the final playoff spot, coming off a win against Hancock Co. We played very well Firday night, throwing the ball around the field and running the ball as well. Hopefully we can come out and play like we did this past weekend and keep our hopes alive for a playoff spot. Tigers 24 Gibbs 17
  19. Thank ya for clearing that up, someone here at work said that he had quit and just wanted to know...
  20. It seems as if everyone knows who you are and you don't know anyone /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" /> As for the debate, the best team in the county changes every year dependent on the talent that each team has, this year I would take Seymour as the best with SC a close second. SC seems to have a cpl of players with major attitude problems that wouldn't fly with the old coach B. Too much taking off helmets and throwing them down without any reprecussions to be seen. GP always has good talent, but can't do well in the playoffs and PF has too many parents getting in the way of coaches getting to coach because their child might get tired or God forbid get a bruise on him. With that said, I hope the day comes I can look back at this and just laugh and all 4 of the area teams have championships.
