  1. TC wins BIG!!! TC was a machine tonight, their Kicker is a beast, and Watertown gave up fifteen minutes in. 0-0 at the end of the first, 42-0 at the half. WTG TC, we support ya the rest of the way, good luck.
  2. I REPEAT, WATERTWON AND TROUSDALE COUNTY ARE 2-2 AGAINST ONE ANOTHER SINCE TROUSDALE'S RETURN TO 1A. TROUSDALE WILL NOT BLOW OUT WATERTOWN THIS WEEK, THE MORE I HEAR YALL SAY THAT THE MORE IM CONVINCED THERE WILL BE A GAME IN WATERTOWN NEXT WEEK. Everything is possible for him who believes - Mark 9:23
  3. Quit whining about us region four boys being proud of ourselves. You know region three is weak, your the big ten of 1A football, youve got ohio state(SP) but they dont play anyone except non conference USC(Boyd). Yes, South Pitt is a very very good football team and we arent trying to say otherwise, your the champs. However, in the last three years, Region Four has a Gold and a Silver, and Yall have a gold. Just because you won last year dont mean that your region is superior to ours when we have the history, and the 3-1 record over yall. TC killed Silverdale, FCS killed LV, and Watertown dominated Grace and that kid getting hurt didnt slow them down a bit. WHS had 2 stuffed the whole first half, the td he scored came off of a grace fumble that was kicked fourty yards to the five. The other TD grace scored was a drive by the backup QB. Region 4 IS better than region 3 and no one can deny it. The way all of yall talk about TC-SP next week, I wouldnt be surprised a bit to see Watertown-FCS in the liquid city.
  4. Believe me, FCS will bring the pain, Region Four is way more physical and hard hitting than region two. All ive seen out of region two is david jones outrunning a corvette and watertown leave Grace in the dirt. It was very clear that the Grace christian team was not used to being hit the way watertown hit them. The pirates can talk about hitting hard all they want, but if they try to outmuscle FCS they will be disapointed and hurt.
  5. At the beginning of the year, Watertown played a lot like Auburn, suffocating defense that allowed close to 0 first quarter points, but the offense couldnt keep the ball for more than three plays if three at all and the defense just couldnt stop anyone for that long. The Watertown Defense has been fantastic in every game since Friendship. In fact, All scores by the opponents in the Celina, RBS, Mt Juliet Christian were against the Watertown second string. Including the Friendship game, the only legitimate grind it out scoring drives against watertown were the first score by FCS, Montereys score, and The second score by grace. Against Gville Watertown threw an interception at their own 30 and Gville scored off of that. Friendships other score came off of a ball tipped up by a Watertown player into Markhams arms that he took to the house. The first score that Grace made was aided by a fumble that gained grace 45 yards. Watertown is a very talented football team, they just make way too many silly mistakes. The only near solid game they have played all year was against friendship, and that game was lost on two WHS mistakes. The longer the season goes the better Watertown will get, with some discipline the Watertown team can be as good as any team in the state. A solid performance by Watertown Friday night and this game will be an absolute dog fight. The Defense will be solid, the key to success for watertown friday night is to focus on mistakes. Trousdale will be ready to play and I guarantee you that they arent looking at South Pitt right now. Keep in mind that Watertown is 2-2 against TC since the return to 1A. TC will not take watertown lightly. This game may be decided early if Watertown comes out and make mistakes, TC will capitalize on them cause thats the kind of football they play. If Watertown comes out disciplined, be ready for a heck of a game.
  6. Yeah well, I saw a South Pitt scout at the Watertown-Gville game, I saw the same guy the next night at the TC-FCS game. Thats not being scared, its being prepared
  7. Guys, I dont know how many of you were at the first match up, but TC isnt 38 points better than watertown. It was 21-7 at the half and I believe and Watertown had committed 3 or four turnovers, two of them in the redzone. Watertown moved the ball all over the field on TC just made silly mistakes. Watertown took another hard loss to FCS and Oneida and then they got some confidence about them. Keep in mind the Purple tigers have won Six straight and all of them convincingly. Also, I dont ever want to hear anyone complain about TC for running up the score, they cant help it, there are only about 20 kids on that team and they all can play ball. Im not saying Watertown will pull this one out, but they are much better than you think.
  8. that all stemmed from the public private debate. us region four boys support our rivals against yall valley fellas. Someone else said something about the road to the boro goes through south pitt, well, in the past three years two teams from region four did go through south pitt right to the boro. If you guys think celina was physical just wait for Friendship(kind of an oxymoron huh?) I know that region four is much more physical than region two is, it was clear in the grace-watertown game. Region two is faster than region four and that helped you to the title last year, but Friendship has some quick cats too. I guarantee that John Markham can outrun that jones fella any night. Markham cant bench 400 like jones though lol what a beast. Now, you can say that the state championship comes through the 4-2 round three matchup, but South pitt doesnt impress me that much. Remember that every other team in the playoffs from region four killed celina very convincingly. Now, South Pitt is 11-0 and they are a very good football team, if they come to play i dont expect friendship to beat sp, but with all this name your score talk and crap yall are getting in over your heads. If you come in thinking of going up by 50 you will get beat. Good luck to FCS, wish i could go but ill be at the creekbank pulling for the lads from the liquid city.
  9. I dont think that kid getting injured hurt grace that bad. His backup was a much better passer and runner than him, just not as fast. He moved the ball much better than the first kid. On the two drives that grace scored. the one led by #2 was a fluke. Grace gained 50 yards off of their own fumble to the ten, then they scored on a horrible lapse in coverage. The first drive of the second half, when the backup QB was in, he ran the offense perfectly and ran it right up the field for the score. I feel bad that #2 got hurt, it is a shame. However, your fans were still screaming and all hte players were going crazy right after he left. It was no deterrant. Anyways, the game is done and Watertown is going to the creekbank. The game was hard fought and hard hitting but very clean. I believe the only penalty of the game was a hold on watertown that brought backa 60 yard td pass. This game was a great illustration of sportsmanship, and Im glad to have seen some of that this year. Especially after how ugly watertowns game last week got. The kids and fans from grace are great people, thanks for being great hosts. I hope #2 heals up and i have a feeling we may see yall again in the future.
  10. Yes, he drew the penalty right after a monterey kid dove head first into eaton while eaton was already on the ground and had been there for a few seconds. Webster called a timeout and told his team to sit back and watch the show. The refs and both sides contributed to the hostilities but im not complaining, it was fun to watch and I think we have a new rivalry.
  11. I couldnt find a thing already posted for this game so i started my own. It was a nasty, dirty, hard hitting game out there tonight. These guys dont like each other so much. There were severall moments, especially towards the end of the game, that it looked like there was about to be a fight. Watertowns #50 got ejected. There were at least 8 personal fouls in the game and probably more. Watertowns coach got one after yelling at a referee about a dirty hit by a monterey player on Eaton. Monterey was really dirty in this game, Ive never seen that from them before. One play in particular was pretty bad. On a punt, about the time the whistle was blown a Monterey player hit a Watertown player in the back blind and knocked him down. After that, well after the whistle was blown the Monterey guy hit him in the back as he was getting up and drew a flag. Watertown blew Monterey out big time too 33-6. It was a nasty game and i think this has become a new rivalry.
  12. dont worry man, yall are gonna kill em. btw guys, Watertown beats Monterey 33-6. Getting ready for GB
  13. idk guys, trousdale better watch out for red boiling lol
  14. Oneida is a very good football team guys. You all seem to think that a win over watertown means nothing which is BS. Watertown has lost four games to UNDEFEATED TEAMS! Oneida played a Titanlike game against Watertown, they didnt dominate watertown, they beat them. WHS moved the ball well and played pretty good D. Oneida forced turnovers and played like winners. Making big plays is a big part of winning championships and Oneida should cruize to the fourth round of the playoffs, which will pretty much be the state championship against TC or SP. Good Luck Oneida, I'd like to see someone upset SP or TC.
  15. hate to dog my own region, but region 4 isnt as tough as they seem, Yes, we have had state championship caliber teams for the last couple of years and trousdale is looking to repeat that. But South Pitts region has handed it to us in the playoffs and those teams from that South of the River conference have been tough too. One thing is for sure, whoever wins the East oughta be handed a gold trophy. You guys all seem to think that Watertown is down this year, but they are a really good football team that can play some ball. They are 1-4, but 3 of those losses came to teams in the top five in these polls, and the other came to a top ten team in 3A. They will probably win out and beat lookout valley in LV before playing FCS again. Oh, and FCS will get destroyed by TC.
  16. For real, nobody wants to hear crap from RBS ever, youve lost how many games in a row, can you even count that high. The only reason your in the paper ever is because you havent won in seven years. Also, what supporters and crowd are you talking about, RBS sells more tickets to the opposing teams fans every week, I remember their homecoming game two or three years ago against watertown, there were about ten people in the RBS stands. I do have respect for the Bulldog players though because they suit it up and play every week knowing that they are about to be crushed, really though, quit talking crap, its annoying. RBS has never seen the T.C. WHS, Gville, Friendship, or Monterey starters for more than 6 or seven minutes before, any score or stop that RBS had came against freshmen. I also think that people should quit taking Gville lightly, they lost to two pretty good teams the last two weeks, Gville is always a good team, just because they are down doesnt mean they are close to out. I still say Gville has a good chance to go to the playoffs this year. I really do hope that RBS wins one this year, but your only chance will be MJCA.
  17. Dude, just because Dekalb beat us doesnt mean that they are the state champs now, they played a good game and outplayed WHS. Dont give up on watertown so fast man, youve been talking all kinds of crap for a while now but now that we lost one your saying that we stink. You sicken me. Go WHS, good luck to you boys up the hill, hope you do well this year.
  18. The Dekalb Watertown game was much closer than the score indicated. The boys from Watertown came out expecting to run all over Dekalb and got hit right in the mouth and quit, simple as that. All the boys we have now still remember that magical night two years ago on the creek bank and everybodys already fired up for the game. I sure hope the Watertown boys eat something different before the game this time though, they were all cramping up friday night. I think it will be an exciting and kind of "electric" night. With what Ive heard about TC this year though, I think their gonna be too strong for watertown. Good luck to you trousdale boys, hope for a good one.
  19. I have to agree with ya, Coach McNeal always fields a good team and their gonna be tough like always, Ive heard from a few sources that they are down this year but I refuse to believe it cause I heard the same BS last year.
  20. FB69, you need to chill a little, If I remember correctly two years ago the fellas up the hill had us beat untill phillips hit thompson l on a fourth down late in the game for a 10-7 win. I know they dont like us and we dont like them but this could be a good game. We've all watched Dekalb improve over the last couple of years and I believe they have a decent team this year. However I have confidence that the purple tigers win comfortably because I dont think the Dekalb defense can handle tony franklins spread offense and the Watertown D looked solid in the second half against Uppermans all state QB, and Dekalb aint ready for the brute force that is Blaze Eaton.
  21. The game wasnt really out of reach untill late. Like I said, Watertown jumped on them early but Upperman showed they could play. Watertown controlled the game but didnt blow Upperman out of the water. The Upperman QB didnt look overly impressive though. He was accurate but they were just nickel and diming, I only remember him going deep once. The Watertown rush was rock solid though and your upperman QB got pounded. The upperman D also had a lot of trouble taking down Blaze Eaton. It took more than one man to get him down all night. Ethan Patterson of Watertown also had an impressive performance with two TD receptions. Phillips seemed a little erratic on the longer passes but he didnt have the best protection either. Phillips overall outperformed the Upperman QB though. I also wouldnt bet on Monterey being down, we got a tough little region over here.
  22. Watertown controlled this game from the horn. Blaze Eaton brought back the opening kickoff and Watertown added another quick score for a 14-0 lead three minutes in. Then Upperman put together a long ten minute 90 yard drive for a score and they later added another to tie it up with two minutes left in the half. Watertown then executed a perfect two minute drill to go up 21-14 at the half. The Watertown defense was solid through the second half and the offense tacked on ten more insurance scores for a nice win. Congrats purple tigers, you earned it.
