You seem to be pretty interested in central, "rebelrebelman"...considering both topics you have made consist of things about central. Maybe a former (and disgruntled) player??????????? Maybe you aren't even from south at all? You haven't posted on any south threads that I've seen. Your profile also shows that you haven't posted on a south thread...recently at least. This is a useless stat. Boone AND East both did not play in that JV tournament. Those were the two best teams in the conference. ALSO, South started several players that were not only ON varsity, but got substantial playing time on varsity, in that JV tourney last year, including the Pickwell kid....the one who won the dunk contest at the jamboree. Where is this stuff about south coming from??? South finished what, LAST in the conference last year?? Next-to-last?

The cougars have everyone back, and from what I've read, the horns have some big ones out. After JC's big home loss last friday, how will they respond?? How will the cougars respond to their big WIN last friday??

I agree that they are NOT in the best of shape. But they'll hit you. Probably one of the most physical teams i've seen in a while. They DO have a slight bit of depth though. Not tons, but sufficient. The running game is alright. Greeneville should hold em. But just like i said, it's just straight up power football. That QB can throw the ball to #5 too. No one else, honestly. As far as "athletes" go, Central has just as much OR more talent than they've had in years. So...i'm pretty sure you've never seen a central game. Tell me some of these guys aren't athletes: Roberts, McLaughlin, the Crowder kid, Box, the entire O line, D line, and LINEUP is filled with strong, quick athletes. Even last year the roster had tons of athletes. Just a lack of depth like this year. The same way its been for the past 5 years. A certain amount of players work their tails off in the offseason, but others aren't confident they'll play since they are so young, so the work ethic slacks. No shot at ANY coach, just proving a point about Central HAVING athletes...whether those athletes are the cause of it or not, that's your choice to make.

The falcons get this one. Crockett seems to be out of shape and just not firing on all cylinders. They need to work on some things. Volunteer by a touchdown.

Cherokee is an EXTREMELY physical team...but with that, comes dirty play. Watch your backs! Also, this is no pushover team. Don't take them lightly.
