I don't think the jamboree is really that important in determining anything. Most teams only play their starters for 2 or 3 minutes anyway, so I don't think anyone really cares if someone gets blown out in the jamboree. IMO....

Of the two games i saw cherokee play, there were 5+ personal fouls. They hit late, in the back. They twist ankles in the pile. Numerous more occasions of things like that. Friends on both of the teams I watched them play against backed me up on this. I was watching it happen, and they agreed. Ya gotta watch your back and not stand around a pile.

Honestly, yes i do think they are more physical than the vikings. NOT a cherokee fan. But here's a little preview. From what I've seen: Cherokee is very very physical, but that's about all i can say for them. They hit like crazy people...but they have trouble moving the ball. Not a very dominant running game, and they only have one good receiver...#5 I'm pretty sure. As long as you match their intensity and be physical, this will be ugly. It just seems like a lot of your boys at DB do a lot of talking, but most of the time they back it up. So i guess it goes without saying that they've earned the right to talk. It's just sort of the way people take a johnson county fan on the football threads. EVERYONE hates them, and they are percieved to all be the same. I suppose what I'm trying to say is...everyone wants to beat DB, and this year, people have a much better chance of it, especially in the beginning of the season.
