This is a new year and Union Co. will have some secret weapons that will handle CGHS. CGHS beat Cosby and thats the comparison...a scrimmage where the special teams are not even involved. Everyone knows the Patriots were at the lake that day.....come on?

Wow! That was a good scrimmage. WEBB looked a lot stronger than I had given them credit for especially on offense. Information above is correct about how the scrimmage went. It was 2-0 WEBB before you could blink....in the end it was just a scrimmage. Did anyone think that the defenses were a little soft at times? Maybe it was just too strong of offensive display by both teams? In the first game Halls plays Clinton and Webb plays Central. Good luck to Halls and Central...they are going to need it.

Who are the some of the players to look for on these 2 teams?

If they "dominated" those 2 West should be 8-2, 9-1 in 2009.

How did West do during Spring Scrimmages? At this point it might be the best indicator of what to expect.

What do you think about the Halls/Central game being the last game of the year? I can see Halls being smaller but quicker.

Do you really think Halls will WIN at HV, CC, Karns, Powell, Central, Sevier County, Web and Anderson County? I would love to hear why there is so much optimism. Heck, throw in Clinton and Oak Ridge and you will have a clean sweep.

So who are the notable players that did play for AE and Central last week? Were there any stand outs for either team? What improvements in any of the players did you SEE that attended the game?

These replies indicate that we are relying on last years line ups rather than the new crop of seniors that may have developed off season. How did the South Doyle do against the Jets? In fact, I would love to know many of the 5A scrimmages went last week. I heard that AE Played Knox Central @AE. Not sure who Halls, Powell and West played.
