Oh no I really hate that she is not only a great athlete but a wonderful student and person... she will be truly miss

Calli might have hurt some but the lost of the other point guard... I am not sure of her name Wilkes or Clarissa she was pretty good seem to have a bit of a attitude... did she transfer what happen to her. I also notice that the Jones girl did not play on Tuesday I hope she is not injured she makes things happen for you guys....

Correction the big guy's mother was hired at the G-Year plant some almost 15 yrs now and had prevously lived in the Halls area for all of that time until last summer when she moved to Newbern. So it is not like she just got that job perhaps she was tired of the long commute....

The D'burg Christmas tournament is usually the week following the Christmas holiday anyone out there know the teams participating and game times? Thanks

I have learned that fans that only support you when you are winning are not true fans...... it is the one's who hang in there with the team and coaches win lose or draw. There are the band wagon fans on every team... you guys have a down year and watch the crowd's you will always have your die hard core group of fans and then there are those who show up as long as you win....... I watched Coach Fulmers (UT) on last Saturday coach his last game I saw how his family supported him and the great crowd.... I sat here wondering about 3/4 of the crowd there wanted Fulmers head on a platter about three weeks ago but suddenly now everyone is jumping on the pity bandwagon acting as if he voluntarily left. I honestly believe they should have given him one more year, I think he could have turned this thing around... but it just goes to show you how some people memories are about as long as the last victory..... we forget very quickly..

That last line should be " if you want to beat us this season might be your best chance, otherwise enjoy your victory because for YOU they will be few and far between.

I don't think I said this year which would include 09.... I am speaking in the terms of 2010 or 2011 when the sophomore who are playing vital roles now will be seniors and the freshmen will be Jr......... Don't underestimate them.... they are very talented and there may be a upset or two this year ...... Humboldt when was the last time you beat DHS....? DHS also have their senior center out for a few more weeks..... DHS has a very young team playing in a very very tough district.....just give this team some time by next year or two we may be talking Murfreesboro..... Greenfield you have a excellent team also but most of DHS player's were playing middle school basketball last year

I don't do the Jr high circuit..... but I do know that the DMS boy's team is having a down year not sure it is the player personnel but probably more of the coaching. In reference your trash talk as that your DC cupboard looks full for the next couple of years.. then my congratulations to you..... I think I know what trash you are speaking but not sure but if if has anything to do with recruiting then I have no dogs in that fight and my reason for even coming on here most of the time is seeking player information or scores as for the DC vs DHS rivalry.....that is beneath me and I don't even go there with you people. I love DHS and have a great deal of respect for the school and the program as for DC......you have had good teams the last few years and your future looks bright so good luck but I am one who will alway's try to say something good about everyone and I leave it at that. No we DHS FANS have not left the building with Counce we are still here however we do have a choice and I think we do most of of supporting at the DHS gym rather then on here I just see this site is geared more for diehard fans who have excellent teams and want to lash out or in most cases bash other especially weaker teams.you and I both know DHS does not have a great team but they are going to be okay and down the road the next year or two they will be back and if I remember correct it was not very long ago..............that many DC fans were here either so enjoy the moment but please don't be sarcastic.... OKAY? A lot DHS fans wish you luck and could care less on how you get your players that is YOUR business it is not My job or anyone other fans on here to monitor DC or any other school athletic programs .....have a bless evening.

I was sitting her surfing the board checking on some of the teams still left in the playoff's and suddenly it dawned on my feeble mind that we (DHS) are one of 8 teams left in our division in the state of Tennessee still playing football. YOu guy's that is awesome the team that we were expecting to lose more then a few games and the team some of us felt would be lucky if they even made the playoffs are in the state quarterfinals...... I remember just a few weeks ago some of our fellow West Tennessee HATERS were saying we WERE NOT playing any good competition that our scheule was weak and once we played some real competion we would see just how weak we were and then after we lost the Covington game there were some chants of one and done for us in the playoff. But look we are still standing and I hope that after Friday night we will still be standing tall as the Number one team from this region. GO Trojans.... Let's give them something to talk about. PS.... Is it just me that notice this but has anyone notice how we do not get a lot of ink in the Jackson Sun they (Jackson Sun) will cover Lake County games in Tiptonville and give us a small paragraph... what is up with that.....? Thank God we have a great paper here and one of the best writers in the state who really loves his in county high school and Middle school teams....

Dyersburg played and started several freshmen.... and Kendra Taylor the starting center did not play...... they Lady Trojans are young very young after the four seniors... you have sophomores and freshmen........ I promise you they will be a force to be reckon with before the end of the season.....

I am pretty certain that the jamboree is Saturday, Nov. 15th., but does anyone know what teams will be playing and the match up's. I think they (Trojans) will regroup and probably go as far or farther then any other team in our region. I am a firm believer that even though I hate to lose it is sometimes good to lose like we did on Friday it makes the team refocus and commit themselves. I have notice all season how so many of the teams are so much bigger then us and I am proud that we are a 8 win team I never would have expected that. We need to be prepared for Trezevant's speed and if they are like most of the Memphis Teams the kicking game might not present much of a challenge. Our pass Defense is in desperate need of repair..... I can't figure it out we blitz and just can't make that last grab on the QB or we will get him but he manage to get free, look at Covington QB on Friday he did that time and time again and that ONE PLAY LOOKWS e they called IT A hUNDRED TIMes with the draw and the full back across the middle. I don't believe we ever stopped that one, so we better bring our A game on Friday or the season will be ending early.... Can you imagine how happy that would make our neighbors UP THE ROAD, sure they PRETEND they are rooting for us..............but I Just don't buy it ... sorry..... I have not been on this site .....due to being out of town just returning today. I support my team win lose or draw and let's kill some of the sarcasm..... about the Burg...... there are obnoxious fans at Southside too.........and lot's other places. Just depend on who you are and who you like and don't like. As for Coach Counce.....he is one of the best coaches no one cares what Coach Bowling does we wish him much success and I don't think you can compare UC and D'burg we will play their schedule and let them play ours.....

Calm down guys.... it does seem a bit strange that so many players are migrating to Newbern the Land of Opportunity.... but hey......I am not here to judge anyone that is their business. I do honestly believe that the truth always prevails.... so lets not get upset and call each other out on this boards...... because I have learned there are more important things in life then ball games.. Go Trojans please stay focus and do not let Ctowm slip up on us, remember they gave the Tomcats all they wanted at their Homecoming so it was NO FLUKE..... Last week is history move on....... We still need to go into the playoffs winning we do not want all of the nay sayers predicting us being out of the playoffs the first week..... so GO TROJANS AND FANS..... lets cheer the team on...... Our student section is a big dissappointment and why do we have cheerleaders the only time I see a little life in the student section or cheerleaders .... Not counting the mascot, she is the LIFE of the party,..... is when the cheerleaders throw the Tshirts and balls TO ALL THEIR FRIENDS...... otherwise they *cheerleaders* are at the game physically.... I think that cheerleading at DHS is a joke anyway more of a social thing..... OR status symbol..... Sorry did not mean to ramble but GO TROJANS.......

I remember last year game followed the DC lost and it was a hard fought game in Covington. The Chargers may have won one or two games and we were in a big let down mode...... this year I am hoping that we will be more focus and not looking past Covington to the playoffs. We still have a lot to lose guys no one wants to go into the playoffs after a lost and believe me beating D'burg would make the Chargers season and give them something to build on doing there off season. Go Trojans stay focus........and keep making believer out of the skeptics PS Trojans fans if you are coming to the ball game on Friday to Watch.... STAY HOME..... remember we are the HOME TEAM...... so we need to be a LOT louder then the competition... come on lets not get complacent... lets get behind this team......
