  1. Still off! You have about 2 touchdowns too many for Dickson Co...and that is being generous! Pat73...Ray running for a long touchdown happens atleast 2-3 times a night...way to pull that one out of left field! Tell me something like what the band played or how they were dressed, lol, that will be something you can't pull out of a newspaper.
  2. He is hanging in there. It was a tough break for the young man, although he is anxious to get back out on the field. I hate to see any kid suffer from a break while in season, but it is all part of the game.
  3. DC fans, take a moment, start/add to your Clarksville thread. It may have more merit than what will unfold in a week and a half. Clarksville and Northeast both have solid teams this year, and with the scores Henry put on them, I can assure you that they will gladly add you to the list. As much as I disagreed with the projected blowouts on both of these teams, I can only look back now and laugh. Enjoy the atmosphere of this big rivalry, but know now that Dickson does not stand a chance in this game.
  4. Well, are there any other Districts with 3 remaining after round one?
  5. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!! Maybe Hunna Lane shoulda come out tonight instead of Hunters Lane My, is that 3 10AAA teams moving to round two?
  6. Congrats Northeast!!!! Way to shut them air head fans from Hendersonville up! Don't get too caught up in tonights when, it's time to buckle down and gear up for a tough Beech squad. Good Luck and way to represent tonight!!
  7. Well, friday is finally here. I don't know about everyone else, but this week has drug out for me and tonight is only 11 hours away! No rain in the forecast, a chilly november night, and round one almost under way. Lots of smack has been talked and it'll be fun to see which teams walk. Good luck to all the kids tonightand I hope its an injury free night for all. Now the question is.... Are you ready for some footbaalllll?!
  8. Trulyblessed. I must say I do enjoy your posts, even when the grouches from nashville complain about it you keep positive talk about both teams and throw your humor in with it too. But enough of that. Coach O will have the boys ready for the green wave that is coming to town. Wiley and company are all fired up for the game as is gallatin. It is going to be a game that comes down to turnovers and special teams. Again, wish I could be there for this one. Good luck NW from a few cross town rivals
  9. I think the first round was a fairly even matching for all of 10aaa with the exception of poor springfield. The sad part is that springfield is talking like they have a chance on that other post. I am sure...with it being the opening round, and henry losing to chs that they will NOT overlook those kids. Therealgame. With a son at chs I am a huge supporter of them as well as NE. This year I would love to see a rematch of henry and chs as I know they would too! Chs has a big week against a tough beech team. Honestly I an proud of clarksville as a whole for pushing four teams in this year!
  10. Therealgame.....If you would have proceeded to read the remainder of the board before posting a reply to each individual comment that you found a flaw in, you would have realized that we had the issue resolved already. Of course, you may not share my desire in knowing everything that has been said before putting my 2 cents in..... so if you're here to debate who has the strongest desire and best source of info, go somewhere else to debate that... we are here to talk about our boys playing friday night.
  11. I hope I just misread this post and I hope you did not use stats from a west creek game to tell how much your team has improved. Good luck Henry. Look to see you matched up with NW in round two!
  12. I'm right there with you rooting for NW this week truly. Four teams in from clarksville is huge for the city. Hopefully wiley and company will come out with their "A" game on. Wish I could be there to watch this one
  13. Ok brackets are back up and these games remain the same. I think henry will have an easy first round as long as they don't overlook springfield. Nw and gallatin look to have the best match-up and looks to be another thriller at the Northwest stadium. Rossview CHS and NE look to have a tougher road in front of them. Dickson will be facing a quick Hunters Lane team but I think they will be able to pull it out as long as they are healthy
  14. Please post update on the Henry Co/Springfield changes in the bracket and I'll get original post updated.
  15. Until last night, I would have said both are strong but last night neither were very good. Defense had been the mainstay, kinda a bend but dont break but we definitely broke last night. Gallatin has a 1000 yard rusher and the QB has over 500 yrds rushing and passing. Nice size in the line. Got some speed on both sides. Excellent kicking game. What about Clarksville NW? Both have been strong for NW this year. WingT based offense. Height of line is not very big, but good size weight wise! Defense has been strong holding for NW with a quick 3 backing up the backers. NW coming off of a big victory against Clarksville-Northeast on thursday that went into overtime. You guys were inches away from playing Clarksville NE instead of NW.
  16. Got it fixed. How did DC fare this week in the mud pits across TN? Wonder how much that can jumble up the brackets...Possibility Henry transfers over to another quadrant?
  17. Battle of the Green and Golds... What does gallatin bring to the table? a stronger offense or d?
  18. No. 16 WR/DB And GW you could be right... on both sides there are some huge possibilities for some big time games in the second round. I'm just in the 10AAA area so thats where my focus was. What happened last night with Gallatin?
  19. Springfield @ Henry Co winner playing 10AAA rematch Gallatin @ Northwest winner Northeast @ Hendersonville winner playing Clarksville High @ Beech winner Dickson Co @ Hunters Lane winner playing Rossview @ Brentwood winner The 10AAA rematches and chances of rematches are huge in this bracket. Looking at a Henry vs Northwest rematch and a HUGE NE CHS rematch. But first things first.. good luck the the 10AAA teams in this first round. Sorry to hear about Henry's injury...he was a big part of their team physically and mentally! A big rematch possible in Rossview and DC meeting in the 2nd round! They met in an early season game in which DC took the victory. What are some predictions/views about the first round with 10AAA?
  20. Umm, I'm pretty sure Clarksville has already played and lost to Northeast, and beat West Creek... but way to poke your nose in and act like you know whats going on
  21. Yes, He has been terrific for our program. He is coaching for the boys, the team. He is not in it for himself like so many others. We are glad he chose Northwest as a new home. We play Springfield Friday with our old coach, Myers. Should be a good game. Go after Springfield and kick them in the mouth!! I hope they run the score up like Ft. Campbell did this week. 1. Offut going back home 2. Myers/Southerland........enough said!! I'm a Northwest fan 100% this week!
  22. I want to add to your Clarksville teams, a Friday night game...Northwest 35 Franklin Co 0 Glad CHS and NE beat the out of towners too! Hope to see them step up and push it through to play in November as well. This District is set at the top spot, but 2nd down it is up for grabs. NE and NW both hold wins over CHS, with the game against each other still to play. Dickson has a tough road with CHS next week and Henry after, adding their current school situation on top of that. Throw Rossview in the mix and we have a lot of football in October to play, and lots of meaning to every game.
  23. Wow! What a weekend for Clarksville. First, NE knocks off Dickson 26-0, and CHS's defense showing up tonight. I'm sorry, but I have to go in with the name-play as well, what Merry Weather it was tonight for CHS. I showed up a little later in the first half, and it was a knock down drag out every minute of the way! Red has a big team, numbers and talent. I hope they take this loss as an eye-opener. I'd like to see them playing towards the big one. Heck of a game for red and purple! Number 81 for CHS? I've seen him here and there on film, but where did this kid come from? Huge 4th quarter for this young man as well as the rest of the CHS defense.
