Wow seems like I really hurt some feelings the other day with cghs72 and cgalum07. First of all I did not say your defense "stunk" you said that. I said "it must be horrible if you gave up 30 somthing to west green and hancock" so if i hurt your little feelings then get over it. Second of all, yes I did take up for claiborne not knowing the first Tailback "fusion" would not play and the second tailback played on one leg. not to mention the Q.b. that would have started transfered to mo-west along with there fullback who was academic in-eligible for the year. So congratualtions on beating claiborne's second string and if i remember correctly they scored 35 points the previous 2 years on your "great defense" , so good job!!! And as far as me being stupid about football, your opinion that's o.k...... but until you win a state championship in football you will always lose this argument with me, because i have a ring (do you and cgalum07 have one)...The reason I even started this thread was to find out who you guy's played and get behind you and wish you luck. See that's whats wrong with this county nobody wants nobody else to have any success except me, me , me, me ......... Can't you figure out that's why you and claiborne have been the laughing stock of eastern ky. and knoxville. All I was trying to do was help the entire county become more football excited and interest. I have lived in this county for 10 years and i remember it growing up in bell co. and if you mentioned powell valley or claiborne co. football through the tunnel they laughed at you, I was trying to take up for the both of you. So if I hurt your feelings in anyway then go out Thursday night and prove me wrong and play some defense. Also shouldn't you be watching film on Alcoa instead of worring about what some has been says on coach t........... good luck with alcoa!!!!!

I really think this move will hurt the greenville football program to move in with what i call the grapefruit league. and yes they will have to go through k-ville to advance in the playoffs such as fulton who will be back just according what kinda of recruiting class they got coming in.. serious...

there is no doubt seymour will be fired up for there coach and if kingston can't shake 2 tuff loses in a row they may lose. I will be at this game friday this is the best 1st. round match-up i can see. however kingston has an ole ball coach on there sideline as well in vic king his teams are always ready to play. should be very interesting game.

hey somthing is wrong because the poe kid did not play against oneida and i did not see his name in the paper this morning. if that is the case then cosby will win because that poe kid can flat out "fly"..

yea i am afraid it's over for the panthers they had a good season. not to mention they beat happy valley who won there region. i just hope they make a good showing which i think they will. If only they could play defense, it seems that defense they run is you either hit big or miss big. giving up 31 points to west green can't be to good, nothing against west green they have improved so much and good luck in the playoffs.

fatrock i agree if you guys are as good as last year and from what i hear you are. i was at the burro last year and from what i saw you guy's could have beat anyone there including the rebs. but like i said, got to get them out of those uniforms i believe they are in everyone's head now. I am old now and have seen alot of football you guy's was by far the best class a football team I have seen in my 40 some years.

wow that is crazy stats redneck!!! do you think cumberland gap can score on alcoa? i do know for a fact if alcoa pulls there starters late during "garbage" time C.G. will try to score late against the younger one's i have seen that in the past. Can't say i blame them with that offense they run i was just wondering how good the younger kids was?

hello splitback have not heard from you for along time. and i agree seymour does have a good team however kingston has come through that very "tough" region and seymour gets to play in the "grapefruit" leauge. nothing against seymour they have played some tough non-region games. i just believe kingston is the better team.

I say go ahead and give South Pitt the 1a trophy and let them play Maryville. If they are anything like they was last year, they could beat maryville. If you took the rebs and put them in another uniform and did not tell south pitt who they were playing i really believe they could win.

i totaly agree! you guys form A.C. would have walked through the other region. the only team that may have a chance to win is granger v.s. A.E. just because of grainger's Q.B. and that is a very slim chance.

give some thoughts this is very interesting 1v.s.4 game that region kingston plays in i feel is very tough. the bottom part of that region could beat the top teams in seymour's region . with the exception of L.A. and stone. look at fulton and scott they did not even make the playoffs and i promise they could win seymour's region.

hey, alcoa does have a great defense however do they play cumberland gap in the first round? and if so, they had better look out for C.G. offense, very explosive. the Q.B. and 1 of the rec. is always at the top of the stats in fridays newspaper. not saying the panthers will win but alcoa has not seen a offense like cumberland gaps.

i say cumberland gap does wish that kick would have went a little farther right redneck. i wonder how come the knoxville paper had it incomplete are you 100% on this redneck.

i was wondering the same thing. the knoxville paper had the 2a pairings as incomplete. why does west green get to play happy and cumberland gap "get" to play alcoa. C.G. should have lost to west green on purpose to get out of the way of alcoa. i am not real sure this is set in stone yet. so let me know.

hey it really does not matter who a-e, a-c, or kingston plays because all will win in the first round. that region is so much stronger you guys will all win. kingston may have to play a little but in the end they will beat the eagles.
