PHARGIS, I was asking if anyone had a new schedule for these games.

Can someone help with a revised schedule for tomorrow.

From what I have read about Mitchell, your game plan for LC to prevent a loss is obvious & correct. The one added task I think has to happen is that LC needs to sacrifice one db to hit #7 hard (not jam) every snap right off the line. He seems to be the biggest key to the fast strike play other than the qb of course. This may cause another receiver to have a big game though because someone over the top will be needed as well for #7. The most important part will be getting to the qb quick. I have watched the Cats for years and do not remember a LC team with more heart & guts than this one (except the '74 team that was sooo strong). This has been a fun year as a spectator and I thank each and every one of you players for the show.

Wonder why all the other #1 seeds are getting the pleasure of playing the 2 toughest teams in their quadrant in round 1 & 2 as LC has. Mitchell has a score ratio of 388-158. C'mont is a really good team as well. I noticed that a lot of first round games were blowouts simply because of the amount of far lesser teams involved. Not so here in this part of the bracket. LC will definitely have to do a better job of play calling in the last 4 mins of the game this Fri. nite. The C'mont game should've and could've ended 12-0. LC will also have to win the TO stat to win. We also have to have enough discipline to refrain from what ever the heck it was causing all the 15yd personal foul penalties. It will be a hard game to win, hope it rains like crazy b4 and during the game. Go (Mudcats) Wildcats.

Was proud of the Law.Co. Lady Cats play. The fact is that Hillsboro & Morristown W. will both be around at the end of the season competing for that title. Cookeville has a good team as well and now we have a good reason to drive all the way up there on 11-19.

Dang, it must be great to be you two(BMACK & GOCHIEFS) the only ones with all the facts and great opinions. Anyway hope you get to make the trip to Lawrenceburg and see for yourself so you won't have to get your updates on Saturday from these threads. LCHS Lady Cats just about has to be team to beat in 8aaa. It's a toss-up after that. I think S'ville will always be there year in and year out. Lincoln Co. will be a hill every team will also have to climb. Franklin Co. sure has a lot of girls. Everyone else in 8aaa has sorta been quiet. Excluding any major injuries, all roads to the district should be patrolled by Trooper Scott of the Lady Cats.

I for one hope the weather gets wet and nasty. This LCHS team can dang sure play slobber knocking ball in the muck. All 3 games that the "Mudcats" played in the muck & mud were excellent performances. One of those was against a very weak team but the other two were expected to be competitive and were far from it because of the "mudcats" attitude and effort at game time. So, rain or shine, victory or defeat, this will be an awsome game to come and see. GO WILDCATS-MUDCATS.

Can someone remind us who the new Columbia coach is and where they are from? Also, how many girls are there. How's it going so far? I see Rachel Moore is V.P. at E O Coffman Middle.

Hey Tidefan, I am a little biased but i see Law. Co. #1 when it is all over. Shelbyville may be the one to beat (as it is every year), but it seems when you look at the talent, LCHS has the pieces to make a 3 or 4 year run in 8aaa.

I guess with Columbia Central being on the list this means that Rachel Moore has decided to resign her position. Is she going somewhere else or spending more time with the new baby? She is a fine lady and coach and will be missed if this is the case. Also, I hope they find a good coach soon so this team can get on the same page with them and stay focused to be ready for next seson.

Wendy Scott @ Lawrence County. She is young and always building. Actually done as well with a young team this year as she did last year with a more established team.

Lets go Lady Cats. Play hard and focus for 4 qtrs then you can go to Blackman High to an even tougher game on Mon nite. Fans please come & fill the gym with the noise of winners. ATTACK the rim & ATTACK the ball like it's always YOUR ball.

Sorry to rebut wildcatsB but i remember only 3 posts about officials and one of those was just a mention(60+posts). Maybe my memory is bad, but i don't think so. The posts on here are usually an opinion or from that person's perspective and that is what keeps us individuals and unique. I am a man who made a mistake for posing the question that I did about a stand up young lady and appoligized for it. I will not change my comments or feelings about poor officials. They have the game flow and sometimes the outcome of games(important & otherwise) in those whistles. Go Lady Cats.

Just a Question. Was anyone close enough to the T call on Dawson to here why it was called? The rumor in the crowd was that she dropped the F bomb and I just wondered what the T was for on her.

I know the news is on the 8aaa thread but it deserves a new one. Great job girls. 43-35 in a tough, tough game. Jordyn, Emily,& Kelsy way to finish. Erin and Magan great job the whole game on D & rebounds. Jessa you showed up at the right time to start the rally. Claire and Ariel good minutes for some great effort. What a team effort. Proud of your composure in a circus of crazy calls both ways. The head ref finally took control of the game calls. See ya Friday nite and play hard.

I don't much agree with the luck theory a 100%. Shelbyville does seem to get their share of the (lucky) breaks but I think you most of the time create your own luck good or bad. One thing is for sure that the Lady Cats know they can beat them. The question will be answered tonite if they will execute and play 4 qtrs well enough to do that. The other issue about the officials calling one sided at times is just some of the older ones not having the courage to do the right thing at the Shelbyville gym during critical games.

mtownballer, Im not sure most teams would have enough help to know how many shots an individual takes each season except for free-throws.

Is it correct that the two winners Sat. will host #3&4 from 7aaa and the two losers from Sat. will go to #1&2 from 7aaa?

Julia Z. Congrats from LCHS Lady Wildcat country. Great job this year on the 3 record. You are an awsome player with a correct attitude and fun to watch in the game. I know that we did not help your effort in aquiring this record and also hope we can still say that after Saturday's game. Good luck and stay healthy for a fine carrer at Lee.
