The JV Dragons move to 3-0 on the season, so maybe the future of the Dragons is looking up.

Powell could very well beat Clinton by 30 points. If Powell was as good as West, Powell would be 4-0 right now.

Clinton lost this game last year 29-22. Are Powell and Clinton both better than last year? Or are they both down from last year?

OR should win this one by 14+. McMinn relies heavily on the run game and I feel like that's what OR is the best at stopping. McMinn hasn't thrown the ball much this year. Oak Ridge will load the box and shut them down. I say Oak Ridge wins 28-7 somewhere in that neighborhood.

Yeah, we have a freshman kicking pat's. He was 5/7 against Campbell County Friday night. He looks more like a lineman. Haha

As you already know....turnovers will kill a team. Clinton had 5 turnovers against West. You have to play a almost perfect game to beat teams like West.

In the 4 years that Keith has been here, Clinton has gotten better and are beating the teams they should beat, but can't seem to beat the really good teams just yet. Hopefully, they are heading in that direction. Right now, if Clinton were to beat Oak Ridge and Powell, and AC....I would consider those upsets and a signature win.

West isn't as explosive as they have been in past years. But they still have a very good defense and a pretty good run game. As long as you have both of those, you will have a chance to win every game. They have also taken advantage of other teams turnovers and not turned it over alot themselves.

It seemed as if OR started off slow against Karns. Maybe OR was keeping it as vanilla as possible. The important thing is OR's defense pitched a shutout and won comfortably. They will be more than ready for Clinton in a couple of weeks. Clinton will have their hands full with Powell Thursday night.

Clinton travels to Powell for a Thursday Rivalry game. Both teams come in 2-2. I think Powell's defensive line will give Clinton fits. Hopefully, we can slow Wheeler down enough to pull off the win. Thoughts? Predictions?

After the first 2 games, I felt like they would finish 6-4. Losing to Powell and OR and possibly beating the rest.

Who they're playing has alot to do with that SS. We have Pal Thursday night. Hopefully they can keep this momentum. If Clinton can beat Powell, they might be able to give OR a good game in a couple of weeks.
