That they were, but this years team is more overall and faster than that one. Plus this years D is alot stronger IMO. Some may suggest otherwise but I would say this is the better overall team than 07 but it is pretty darn close. Yea, that game was a little one sided if I must say so. I don't think we could have even made it close if we had played the best game of the year. That SP team in 07 was just plan GREAT.

I know who they are very well. Both are at Bethel now playing for the Wildcats. Both were he-- of a ballplayers for us tha's for sure.

Not sure I want to see this one... I heard some rumors on who we might be lining up against. If they are true, we can not be knocked for playing weak teams and coach will stay true to playing the best....

Yea, Max is the driver of this bus. He is one of the better alround athletes I've ever seen. He doesn't get alot of publicity because we spread it around so much, same with Richie #6. This is probably the most balanced rebel team that I have seen. When did you go to the combine and what Rebels did you met?

CB, that's typical Rebel football. Most of the time that's why our games are close, we have those long methodical drives eating clock, but we can open it up pretty quick too.

I agreed with your earlier post about if TCA was recruiting, it was a rather poor job. Well if they bringing them in by the bus load then they better get another recruiter because he stinks........ That's not a knock on TCA, just a joke so before anyone gets upset, just relax. I know privates take their share of hits from folks but in reality, it is a blessing to some that can get a great education outside the norm.

Max is good, just had the wind taken out of him. Flloyd wasn't ejected, just pulled out and had an ear full. I spoke with him afterwards and got what happened. While they were down in the pile, a Riverside player grabbed his facemask and pretty much twisted it off his head. Now knowing Floyd, he stood up for himself which I can't say I blame him. He gets a little hotheaded which is a good thing but control sometimes gets the better of him. He will be out there next week. Lucky for us we had some fine officials tonight and they showed restraint on that call plus a few others. My boy even got warned for reacting to an uncalled action in which he retaleated. We came out pretty healthy and all will be suited up next Friday

Agree here duck, I sure hope we do not underestimate TCA next week. Yes we are playing very good right now, but they did just beat a very good Humboldt team so something is clicking over there as well. Last time we met it was a good showing, but lets not base that game on the one next week. We just need to stay focused and continue the run. Prepare this week like we always do and show it on the field next Friday.
