True Enough. To be one of the last 8 teams left in the state already means you’ve won. Good Luck to all the players. For some of them this will be the last game they play and for a lucky few they will get to play a few more years in college but the lessons they have learnt from the years of playing this team sport like, team work, sacrifice, determination and just working hard to reach a goal will hopefully stay with them a life time.

PC had a great game Wed. I hope they play as well Friday. They wokl so good as a team and are very fast. Rhodes is just a JR so watch out next year! Clay County did not handle the very good D Perry put on them. they held Corey to only 2 points and Trent to 17 ... the fact we couldn't score led to all the silly fouling which in the end really made a HUGE diffrence in this game. CC has NOTHING to be down about ... you had a great year. You just can't win them all. The CC Boys have grown so much over this season. I look forward to watching this group next year as they still have a lot left after Trent , Matt , Dylan B, and Jon are gone. I will miss watching Matt play.He put 150% into every sport he plays. You don't find that in a player everyday. I look for Jake and Dylan C to really step up next year. Good Job Dawgs! jim brown does not recuite girls. it is a fact some families have moved to JC to give the girls a better chance at scholarships but he does not go out and ask them too. This is a bad line to keep up just because the man is a good coach.

That it was ... a tough day for Region 4! Lets hope the Region 4 Clay Co boys can have better luck next week. Maybe Macon Girls will pull out a W for us! At this point you gotta go for the team closest to home!

This was a great game. I was disapointed that Lookout didn't bring a bigger fan base. I think this would have helped the Lookout team. (Not that i didn't want our Bulldogs to win i just hate to see a team get so far and nobody come to watch them. These boys were good players and good sports Congrats to them for getting that far!) The Bulldogs came into this game with lots of heart. They are playing great ball right now. Corey Hamilton really stepped it up and made some great plays for CC. I know this is over but this has really upset me. You must not have watched much CC basketball. Trent Boles passes the ball sometimes when he should shoot. He has Never been a selfish player. I do not know his STATS but i do know he is a leader in scoring, asst. , steals and foul shot % is well above 80%. His team is in the sub-state with his help and Corey Hamilton (who is only a soph-watch out for him the next 2 years) and two of the boys who are up for this award are not going to state. Boles's mouth Might loose him this award but NOT the fact that he is a ball hog. That is just a crazy thing to say.

Looking for where I can find a list of how many students a school can have to be in each Class A AA AAA in the state of TN.

The student bus will be a huge help. I had a great time watching the CC and FC students at the Reg Game. School Spirt has become a thing of the past GLAD to see some teams bring it back.

Clay is playing much better ball than they were when this game took place. A lot of boys who did not make any plays in this early season game have stepped but and are playing smart ball now. Don't count on FC not being able to win this game. They will come to play and they will bring a crowd.

FC can win this game but everyone on the team will have to score in double digits. They are the best team ball players i have seen. I think the coach pulls some of the boys out to soon after just one bad play also. you can't get one bad pass & take a kid out of a game he will never get his groove back. Good Luck to FC PLAYERS!

These will be 2 games anyone who likes basketball should pay to come see. Clay will have to play great D and not slack off. They need rebounds on both ends of the court. They need a few good steals and fast breaks and they should be able to over come PC this time. CRange can beat FC as long as they don't let the FC fans get to them. They will have to show up and play hard the whole time with at least 3 players in double figures. Good Luck CRange!

This game got heated and out of hand .. lets face it nobody likes to play FC let alone loose to them BUT they have been playing great ball the last few weeks. I was hoping JC would send them home so nobody else would have to play them BUT that didn't happen. Ref's or not this game is over and I'm sorry for Godwin and the other seniors on this team. If all this typing helps you get out your anger i guess type away but it won't change the crappy out come of the game.

This was the ugliest game i have seen clay play. Looked like a pick up game that nobody really wanted to be in! FC was ready to play. Best passing i've seen all year. I hope they CC boys are done with this lazy playing because its go time now. We will see how much this bunch wants to keep playing in just a few days. Boles twisted ankle must have been a bad one he didn't play in the game at macon either (they lost by 8 i think)

Yeah but they got the same kind of woodshed whoopin from FC the other night! The playoffs are totally up in the air Distric and Region. No telling who will come out on top.

Thursday will be a HUGE night for CR and CC. The gym at Clarkrange is always pack and loud. How loud will it be Thursday night? Hope Clay fans travel well. we always need our fans when we play at CR! Good Luck and hope for NO SNOW!

Single A (Hometown Cook'n) A Wes Grace - he is the MVP of his team without him THEY go nowhere with him they are a hard team to beat. It Means so much to have a leader. Top Scorer and always plays to win. Trent Boles - 2 year Starter played all 4 years. He is the scorer and leader of his team. has taken a team people had said would be winning half their games at this point in the season and made them a team nobody wants to play. Bet you ask any coach he has played against and they will give him the nod. Ave 20ppg and also a leader in assist. Jordan Godwin- Great athlete and always plays hard. Leading scorer and has been in doubles digits in scoring and rebounds many games.

This was a great game. Tons of energy and love for the game. Both teams played well. Copeland and Boles had great games. Copeland had mroe rebounds than I had seen out of Clay in a long time. rebounding is not a strong point of any of the players on Clays team. Boles was hot for most of the game went a little cold in the 3rd but got it back. If that kid would step up his D some he could play everybody else out of the gym. Good Luck a C-Range Thursday Clay maybe it wont snow it out. Big Congrats to the Clay girls. Nice win. I'll have to say JC was a player down and she means another 12-16 points a game. Still a great job!
