The polls bring up great discussions and are fun for fans to view and keep up with. It all boils down to how teams do in the district tournament. If you have upsets then it shakes up the whole brackets which lead to top teams playing each other. You can throw these polls out the window starting Friday when district playoffs start. Moore will win by as much as they want... I feel that Eagleville will beat cascade by 10 +, Forrest will b eat Community as bad as they want, MTCS will slip past Huntland by 5 or less.

And it might be Moore County thats sitting watching like last season.

Trust me..that is not the case this year. Houston County and McEwen can beat the 2, 3, 4 team in that district any night and can play with Moore as well. Houston already beat Forrest this year so that tells you they can play with those teams.

Leeann Baggett from Houston County. She was district MVP last season and broke the 1,000 mark early this season. She has lead her team to a top 10 ranking in the state and getting a lot of college attention.

This region better worry about McEwen and Houston County. These 2 teams are as good as anyone in that district even Moore County.

Nashville Christian beat them by 20, and Houston County beat them as well.

No doubt. Summertown is a tough team. I see them getting to the sub state and will take a good team to knock them off. It should be a good last 5 weeks here before the tourney starts.

If the Riverside Lady Panthers cannot beat McEwen..They are not going to be a factor come tournament time.

I think if that was true. we would have heard more about it. Summertown is loaded with talent. I think they are going to be a hard team to put out. You def do not want to go to Summertown and play a region or sub state game.

Moore ounty is a top 5 team in the state, but I was looking to see Summertown around 3 or 4 and Moore around 5 or 6. It will all play out over time. It is the 1st poll. Plus you should not put much thought into the polls because its not tournament time. These mean nothing. All the poll does is create a good conversation.

It seems that you have a lot of confidence in "your" play in the post and the "back ups" play in the post. I will make sure that I am in attendance to see this game and to observe "your" dominance as well as your team. Where is this game at?

A lot will tell in the next month of basketball of who is the best in the state in Class A. It is good that everyone is postiong opinions. Thats what message boards are all about.

Santa Fe is decent but they are not a contender for the region championship. They might win out of the district but that is because its one of the weakest in the state. They will not pass wayne county or summertown for that matter.

They must worry about beating Houston County before they worry about going to the substate.

Teams from East Tennessee do not have a chance of winning the state. Its coming from the southern part of the state/ middle tennessee or the western part..not cloundland or greenfield teams.. do not have the talent

I see that McEwen is creeping in the top 10? Them and Houston County will be a great game!

It appears that Jackson County & Lake County are everyones front runners to win it all in Class A. What about the teams that everyone has after them. I see most everyone has Summertown, Cloudland, Houston County, Clarkrange, Moore County. Who is going to be in the next group between those teams. I am sure I am leaving someone off that is dang good. I think Houston, Huntland, and Moore are in the same region. That should be interesting. Good Luck all teams!!! give me your opinions

McEwen has a good ball team like they do every other year. They will be a tough out in the tournament!

I am pretty sure that it will be a tight race. I guess time will tell. Is District 10A playing tough teams out of district or they just playing an easy schedule?

It seems that everyone is countin Waverly out before it starts. This is a good ball team. They are coached well and shoot the 3 ball really good. anytime you have that, you got a chance to win the ball game. I look for this to be a very close game and come down to the last 2 minutes of the 4th quarter.

When is the semifinals and finals of this district tournament?

I think you have cornersville, Perry County, Forrest, those type teams that are sleepers with getting in. I think you have 5 teams that are ranked in the top 5 which are: not any order: Wayne County, Moore County, Gleason, Lake County, and Jackson County. I think your other teams will slide in and still compete. I think anyone could win it this year on a given day. I do not think there is a Jackson County again this year.
