how could i forget. Coach King even read it and he made up like 20 new plays before those games. I didnt really hate seegull until the first game at ohs when it was overcrowded. after i saw the ours fans vs theirs I HATED SEEGULL. some people dont know but this is his first year playing football and bc hes only 17 he could come back for another year of high school football.

ITS GOOD TO BE BACK HOME(atleast until next fal then il be back on the court)! I appreciate it and trust us athletes do come on the message boards before games and get pumped up. I was glad to see him out there as well. He was killing then the injury came. Hopefully he stays healthy for the remainder of the season.

if we beat smyrna twice then i dont think we will have to say much more at all. just line up and come get some!

i havent gotten a chance to check them out yet. i just got back in town from taking a year off from college basketball. word is they are state bound but us alumni are wanting to get a scrimmage in with them before it all gets going. siegel vs ohs games are unlike anything ive experienced and thats why i love goood ol oakland. 20,000 cant fit in either gym but WE WILL TRY!!!! im sure uve witnessed my play. i led ohs to back to back sub-state births before i went off to prep-school! No football. strait up and down basketball! at that time the fball team wasnt so great and i had the best coach(arguably) in the state. last thing king wanted was me playing football

1st-The game is friday not tonight. Tonight the Browns play the Bills ... 2nd-You're speaking as tho Oakland is inferior to Smyrna. Smyrna has alot of talent everywhere but so does Oakland.Our quarterbacks are young also and the starter has really just found his groove again after his injury. When the starter went out the backup came in and managed the game to keep us undefeated. I havent seen many quarterbacks in this region throw with accuracy on the run and off of their back foot like our starter has. Even when you pressure him he's smart enough and fast enough to scramble and throw or run for a first down. He's not a pocket quarterback in my opinion and even when the play is dead he makes time for his receivers to come back to the ball. 3rd-No doubt Bryson,Hicks,and Brown are great but Oaklands run game is unlike anyone probably in the STATE! Precious Valentine and Sam Bass are just as good if not better then Hicks and Bryson. As for brown... well he's no comparison to T.Mayberry or big Dre Frazier. 4th- Wide receivers eh! Chris Johnson stands 6'4 and smyrnas secondary probably avg 5'9 so you do the math. The holes are smyrnas secondary and if they wanna play bump and run then its going to be a long night for them. But Chris isnt all we have. 6'3 Will Walker is also catching the lob passes and 6'4 Blissard will be coming in. Thats just the tall guys. #7 and #9 are our big linebacker and DL and they both play tight end and NEVER have dropped a ball all year! wait! lets not forget about the short but quick guys. #25 is a short little guy and u wudnt think he's anything but think of him as a wes welker kinda receiver. #20 Buddy Mitchell is short but very strong. He's quick and runs great routes. Last but not least theres #1 Chanz Boyd. Imean the kid runs a 4.4 and is just now trying to get in a groove from his ankle sprain. He led along with Johnson in THIS region with ypc and yac. 5th- DL? you've gotta be kidding me! Tim Mcadoo is a Mr.Football candidate as a junior and as of late has been eating offenses for dinner so im sure bulldogs is on his menu for friday night. #78 hasnt got much pub but avg about 2sacks and 8 tackles a game. Also he's lined up right next to Mcadoo so pick your poison. #67,#83,#9, and also big RICO have been tallying up the sacks/tackles up as of late. Smyrnas dl could back up ours but they wont start over anyone we have thats why our defense is 2nd in 5-a among opp ppg and smyrna is in the top 15. 6th-our OL IS VERY GOOD! i dont think we have given up a sack in playoffs at all and 3-4 of our DL PLAY BOTH SIDES. 7th- our linebackers are just as good if not better then smyrnas. can u please give us some credit somewhere geez! finally it will be a cold day in heck before smyrna scores 24 points on oakland in our house! oakland 13 smyrna 10

maybe for football but each of the siegel vs oakland bball games i played in the broke records,stopped selling tickets,caused a fire hazard,and had half of the murfreesboro police at the game

does anyone think the game will sell out? or break the attendace record for a tn high school football game

Im not completely accurate but from what ive seen about 3-4 of oaklands d-line plays both ways but only in specific packages and we do run behind big MCADOOOOOOOO! We honestly didnt have an answer for hicks the first time. He was in a groove and we cant let him let alone SMYRNA get into a groove on either side of the ball. The Smyrna quarterback throws a good fade route pass and i hope our corners dont get burned bc he puts it where only his receiver can get it. OHS CONCESSION STAND IS TURNING INTO A BUFFET WITH SO MANY SELECTIONS. HOT CHOCOLATE IS PRE-MADE SO ALL U HAVE TO DO IS PURCHASE THE CUP AND GO AROUND THE SIDE AND FILL IT UP.

#5 is hicks isnt it? He and bryson are a load to handle and him being inconsistent doesnt mean he cant have a big game against oakland. score wont be higher then 14 either way. Oaklands defense isnt giving up 21 and neither is Smyrnas.

which of oaklands backs are more power then finesse and vice versa for smyrna? would you say bass is the more downhill power runner and valentine is the finesse back? and with smyrna is hicks the finesse back and bryson the dowhill power runner? but i agree when u compare those two then id give the edge to smyrna but if u compare the overall running game then id give it to oakland

If he punts this game I hope he takes a few steps back. Cookeville almost blocked a few and im sure Smyrna well get to him with even more pressure

Stop Precious Valentine? Smyrna might have to hop aboard the love train! You would also still have to stop Bass,Nelson,Mayberry, and Boyd and Mitchell on handoffs. All of those players have helped make the passing game what it is by opening up the play action. With the short secondary im sure Chris Johnson will have a chance to catch a few lob passes or fades. NOW IF WE STOP SMYRNAS #5 THEN WE HAVE A GREAT SHOT AT WINNING!

Well i guess since they're not in the playoffs(BHS) and dont have a coach anymore its fitting to jump on the bulldog bandwagon! Yea they went into 4 overtimes but obviously the better team won!!!! No matter how long it took and regardless of what happened throughout the game Oakland ended up with the W and thats all that matters. Iguess he didnt understand where i was coming from so I will make sure he and everyone else does this time. As far as passion goes im speaking for my team. That also means im not worried about any other teams passsion,courage,or fear. Im focused on my team and my team only! So if i feel they have more passion then Im right whether Im being biast or not! Everyone supporting Oakland knows what Smyrna has done this season and this postseason and we arent taking anything away from them. My point is its our time and its ours to win. The only way Smyrna beats Oakland is if..... WE BEAT OURSELVES !!!!! yea yea yea ... Smyrna won 6/7 but if thats the case so did Oakland. HECK WE WON 11OUT OF OUR LAST 12! I love how you are the statistician for SHS but let me throw a stat at you... -Smyrna is 2-3 on the road and Oakland is 7-0 at home You are excused !!! why dont you go to the game and when you show up dont wear orange/blue(bc BHS is very irrelevant) wear some good ol' purple and gold!

Its not like we've won it all(yet). We are still the underdog eventho we are at home. Everyone in Smyrna will be at the game as if it were a home game. I doubt we will win by 14 and as long as we capitalize in the red zone instead of fumbling we will be fine. Smyrna WONT BEAT US. The only way Smyrna wins is if we BEAT OURSELVES !

Almost beat us? 1st-almost doesnt cut it at all. A loss is a LOSS and a win is a WIN. 2nd- The only reason Smyrna was in the game at all is bc we spotted you a few safeties. If it wasnt for the safeties Oakland would have won in regulation. I understand that was the first time and these two teams have came along ways since then but Oakland is undefeated at home and the stars are alined for us to take it all the way. Theres not enuf experience on the field for Oakland vs Smyrna as far as playoffs but we def have more passion and we are in the moment ! Oakland -13 Smyrna-10
