  1. From what I have heard, it sounds like most people think that the first proposal, the one with Farragut in the Chattanooga district, is most likely to be the one that happens. While the traveling we will have to do won't be ideal, I think that we will compete to win that region every year. It will be a lot like the region Farragut had before the split into 6 classes. While I know none of this is set in stone, and with the TSSAA is in charge who knows what will ultimately happen.
  2. I guess we will just have to fly our helicopters in. Surely there is some field space around William-Blount, hopefully you all will provide golf care transportation to the stadium.
  3. That is what I was thinking too, not sure that sounds like much fun.
  4. The game is a William-Blount. A friend of mine told me there is a place on the TSSAA website that you can look at who is in and who is not, but I can't seem to find it. He said that, right now, we are the fourth team out of the playoffs. I know that doesn't mean much and that says we are out, I still think there is a slight chance that we make it in at 4-6. I think we should just go beat Maryville and leave no doubt we will make it, but that is a whole other story. Will be interesting to see what transpires.
  5. Very interesting you think a William Blount will beat Farragut 45-14. Comparing the schedules and results, I just don't see that happening. Hopefully this Farragut team will come out hungry tomorrow night and score early and often. I haven't been able to get by practice this week to check them out, but hopefully we are continuing to get healthy and players haven't given up. I think it will be a good game on Friday night, since both teams know that a loss pretty much kills any hope of a playoff spot.
  6. Just got this from the TSSAA website, might me old news, but anyway: For the purposes of Division I Football Classification, the following schools have notified the state office they wish to move up: Class 2A to 3A Alcoa High School Goodpasture Christian School Class 3A to 4A Memphis East High School Lipscomb Academy Class 4A to 5A Clinton High School Gibbs High School Kirby High School Class 5A to 6A Maryville High School With Maryville High School requesting to move up to Class 6A, LaVergne High School they agreed moved to Class 5A.
  7. Still looking for where I call him or anyone a coward. Anyway, the picture is becoming a bit more clear now that the deadline has passed. Will the TSSAA release a final list of where all school stand? Will they release a list of the districts for all classes? Or will we have to wait until after they vote on it to see what they decide??
  8. Please point or quote to where I called George Quarles a coward, I think you will find it tough to do. Perhaps you are the clown.
  9. So Maryville is moving up, very interesting, kinda surprised after the statement that George Quarles made last week when the numbers came out. I wonder where that will put the Admirals, Knoxville or Chattanooga region. Are they going to release anything between now and the time they vote on the new regions in Novemeber?
  10. I disagree with you, I think the ONLY reason they are allowing teams to move into the Super 32 is so Maryville could do it, but that is my opinion and not based on anything but speculation. I could be 100% wrong, but we will probably never know for sure. Take the shots Farragut hasn't been able to....Very interesing, we have played in the largest classification ever since I can remember, even back in the day when I played in the good old days. So we have taken and given many "shots." Whereas you guys have been in it since what, 2010, and now they don't want to play the best. Give me a break if you think they are concerned about the "travel budget." And yes, Farragut has been down they last three years and that is because, as enrollment numbers show, we have been playing with 6A schools with the enrollment of a 5A school. Someone told me that students are finally being zoned back to Farragut and that enrollment should be back on the rise. I still can't believe that there are people that live in the Town of Farragut, that don't go to Farragut High School. The new school, Hardin Valley, has really hurt Farragut enrollment wise and those effects are finally being seen by the football team.
  11. Hoping the Ads have a great week of practice this week, not gonna be able to get by there since I am out of town, but will be back Friday afternoon and should be able to get to William Blount for the game. Gov91, who is the starter that you hear might be returning? Just curious because we have been in the same boat most of the year with kids hurt and what not.
  12. So now it is looking more and more like Maryville is going to stay in 5A, very interesting. I thought the whole reason the TSSAA was allowing teams to move into the Super 32 was soley because of Maryville. Now it looks like this whole mess of trying to figure everything out was for nothing, atleast as far as the Super 32 in concerned. Interesting that Maryville and the great George Quarles don't want to play the biggest and the best in the state. I guess nothing is set in stone yet, but looks like they are staying in 5A.
  13. Go Admirals! I think we will win big tonight! Farragut 42 Bearden 10
  14. Better get there early, should be pretty crowded. I am gonna get there 30 minutes earlier than usual.
  15. What is the word on this guy? Why is there so much dislike for him? I have heard people do not like him, but haven't heard why.
  16. Imagine that, Knox County screwing things up and being late to do something. So that would mean all Knox Co. schools were submitted with last years numbers, I wonder if every other school in TSSAA was submitted with last year's numbers too? That is probably a question that can't be answered. Did TSSAA mandate which(last vs. this year) numbers were to be turned in? I can probably answer that, but maybe someone knows for sure. I would imagine TSSAA just said send numbers, with their track record. They are almost as bad as the NCAA.
  17. I know, and it is a shame. I saw one the other day in the Bearden game thread, but haven't seen him anymore. He has a son on the team so I thought he might start posting more, but I guess not.
  18. I am really just not getting to read into all of this fully, as Friday is my day off. So Farragut will be 5A, I saw that, but there is some discussion that we might fall in to the Chattanooga district, WOW! That will be brutal for travel. I really hope that Maryville decides to move up, that would be a very good thing for us. I thought the whole reason they even allowed teams to move up is solely so that Maryville could move up, and now they might not. My understanding is that they will redo enrollment numbers again in two years, so this could all change then. Also, from a couple of people I talked to, they seem to think that Farragut could be back to 6A by that point. They also told me that for some reason Farragut turned in last year's enrollment number as opposed to this years, IS THAT TRUE?? Were there guidelines to what numbers were to be turned into the TSSAA? They two guys I talked to seemed to think that if Farragut had turned in their current numbers, that we would still be in 6A, pure speculation, but interesting nonetheless.
  19. Glad to see all the discussion about the Farragut/William-Blount game in this thread. Maybe it should be renamed WB/Maryville post game discussion. What a dang joke, get outta here.
  20. It should be interesting to see what Maryville decides to do. I read that article in the Sentinel as well and was surprised to see George say they ma decide to stay in 5A. I know they have a couple of key guys on the TSSAA board and rumor is this "Super 32" plan was set in motion by those Maryville guys, but now they may opt to not play in it. Very interesting.
  21. Good to see some Admiral blood on here for a change, seems like we are nonexistent on here. Injuries have killed this team this year. We were healthy in the DB game and should have won, but the defense just couldn't hold(imagine that). If we have our starting QB the Oak Ridge game I think we win without question, our defense played lights outs only giving up 2 FGs. Then after that game I think the players may have started doubting themselves and that led to the losses against Fulton and West. The HV game Farragut came out flat to start the game, then go back in it before halftime, but again came out flat after half and just laid down. Not sure if there is a reason they are coming out flat, but hopefully the coaches will give a motivational speech or something. I think we win big this week and do so again next week at William-Blount. I know they beat Heritage, but only by two points, late, 50-48. Then we play Maryville, which I think if we are healthy, we can compete. Should be interesting to see how everything plays out.
  22. Was able to stop by practice yesterday at Farragut and all I can say is wow. I have never seen a football team with more injuries. We have several starters out and many backups out. Not sure what their injuries are, but if some of these kids do not play tomorrow night, it could be a long night for Farragut.
  23. It has been a long time, probably 10 years or so. I hate how our schedule is though. We have played without a doubt the toughest schedule in the state to this point in the season, including tonight's game. I was there and noticed that too, I am not sure why we never adjusted. We just aren't able to compete with the way our schedule is right now.
  24. Wow!!! TWO offensive linemen are out.... This could spell big big trouble for the Ads. I rewatched the West/Maryville game the other night and one thing that stuck out was the size of their DL, they have some big boys, especially on the interior of the line. I think if we were healthy we could hang with West, as we did last year, but now I think this one might get ugly.
