Can you explain to me how getting two transfers in 5 years one from Florida and one from Chattanooga and playing teams like Baylor, Brentwood, Goodpasture, Oakland, and Wilson Central is playing a cupcake schedule and cheating? I think you might just have a personal problem because your team can never seem to come out on top when it comes up against a Bill Price team. South Pittsburg ran all over SM last year I don't think it's a jealousy issue. The team here was a dropped touchdown pass, wide open behind the defensive back, in the last minute from beating SM last season. That was by no means a dominating win and I didn't see a powerhouse team. I did see a lot more "antics" from that team than from rivalry opponents Whitwell, Bledsoe and Marion last year. Stuff like that, and running it up on jv teams the year prior, are main reasons for the attitude being shown, not to mention the vague details on the transfers. I will say it again, South pitt will beat them again and Sequatchie might pull this one out this year, but will give Signal fits. They run through rest of there schedule and get beat 2nd or 3rd round. So no Signal didnt dominate their whole schedule. Lookout valley even had a chance to pull it out.

How much did Bledsoe,Grundy and Sequatchie lose? Who will be one of the play makers of the region? Will anyone from this district advance in the playoffs?

So let me get this right, Coach comes in his first year and wins the District. However,bad calls in first round playoff game and they lose. Which Coaches as players do have bad games. This next part blows me away. I have read on here where some people want this coach gone. After you guys won the District, you want to fir the coach? From an outsider point of view reading this thread I'm just dumbfounded why you guys are saying this. I can see why 3 coaches in 4 years, maybe its the community running the show?

My predicition for the order in the valley goes. 1. South Pit 2. Sequatchie 3. Bledsoe 4. Grundy 5. Marion 6. Whitwell.

Signal Mountain will have the same regular season record last year with a possible loss to Sequatchie at home. They will lose to South Pit at South Pit and I think sequatchie has a good chance to beat them at there place also. However, I think signal will not be tested for the rest of their schedule and I think once again it hurts them in the playoffs. Good luck.

I see marion county having a rough year having to battle week in and week out. They will be young and inexperienced, but will find some ways to win some games. I see 4 to 5 possible losses this season, with games against south pit, and signal montain in their district schedule. In non district Boyd,sequatchie, and bledsoe will be tough. I see 6 and 4 or 5-5 with a possible 7 win season.

District 7AA will be a little more compettive than last year. There will be 3 teams out of the region who will make the playoffs again. They will be bledsoe, sequatchie, and grundy, all battling for the top spot. I do think ccs will be improved and win two or three games and will beat notre dame and finish 4 in the district. The big question will be can any teams from this district advance in the playoffs?

Where will Seq Coach be going? Their will be a big diffrence in the bottom 2 and the top 3 teams in the district. Chat Christian will be better but there is no way they finish 3rd. Grundy will be better then you think. Sequatchie and Bledsoe should be the two front runner with Bledsoe prob having the edge with returning starters and the game being at their place. However, dont count out grundy. So a prediciton is kinda hard. 1-3 Sequatchie,Bledsoe,Grundy will be a toss up. However, Chatt beats ND to finish 4th.

You say their first team? But the team as a whole has not, whereas York has. There be a difference matey!! But, I don't think it all comes down to the coaches. I think the kids who want it more will be a big factor. And the fact that, as much trouble as I know this will stir, that SC looks less aggressive and physical. But, that's just me The kids who want it more wil be part of the team that excutes the coaches gamplan the best . Should be a great game and I hope York fans have a safe trip. Also there will be some hitting in this game from both sides.

Seq Cos first Def has had 5 shutouts also. Face it this will be an evenly match game and the only advantage goes to the kicking game for Seq. It will come down to the coaches game plan and who will excute it the best. I think this will be one of the better first round games in the state. Cant wait to see this one. This should be a good intense hitting football game. Both teams have good skill kids but the question will be whos Line wil be more physical. Seq has a good def and from what im hearing so does york. However the advantage is in the kicking game. Seq wins by 6! best of luck to both teams.

Indians fans this is playoffs dont over look anyone. Sounds like last week Mcminn gave you guys a wake up call. Move forward and this is a very winnable game for the Indians. To the York fan that says Seq is shy about hitting, I havent seen them in a couple of weeks, but from what i seen they like to throw their bodies around. York has a good team. This should be a good hard fought football game. Its playoff time, best football of the year. Best of luck to both teams!

Dont be bias and think the whole community is like Purple2the bone. I have spent some time in Seq Co. and they have some of the respectful and nicest fans around. Bootleg and Dropback are two diffrent things my friend, Bootleg is more effective it freezes the LB.

bratt22, you said last season that you didn't like having to play Central the last game of the year....and now its here....do you still feel the same way?......i'm sure you were just worried about the chance of players getting hurt late in the season.......Central is a good team.....better than alot think.....should be a good game. jh, my reasons were going on the road a fair peace the last game and possible having to go on the road the following week for the playoffs. The other reason was such a quality opponent, Central is a good solid program and play physical. Having said that, I feel we have a better team that what I thought we would have when I said that. The latter reason baring injuries, will certainly prepare us for the playoffs. So to answer your question, yes, but it is what it is. And yes it should be a good game, I hope they don't decide to play it Thursday, because playing on Thursday night's just don't feel the same. Rain just adds to the excitement, but from the coaches perspective, they would like it to be dry . My veiws are quite diffrent. I think Seq Co. is a soild program themselves. I put my hats off to Coach Barger and staff for scheduleing a game like this before the playoffs. MCminn did the same thing scheduleing Alcoa. These are the types of teams you play in the playoffs and if the Indians win(which i think they will) it could jumpstart a deep playoff run. Also, i dont see why people say its the best team you guys have played all year,maybe best Athletes, but not best team. Nobody has ran the Indians off the field all year, they have been in every game. I dont see why friday will be any Diffrent. Mcminn talks about polk wearing out SP but the fact is that got wore out by them to. Its the worst margin of deafet on their schedule. Some fans need to have a little faith in their programs and coaches. Look when a whole community bought into what a coach was doing last year. It got Marion to the semis, you just have to belive and have confidence. The Indians have a very good chance of winning this game and I think their team will be fired up to prove not only to Mcminn but it seems still to their community that they can win. This should be a very good game. I have seen both teams play, and both are solid football teams. Mcminn Central does have the slight Athlete advantage. However, Seq have very two quick running backs #2 and #44. Both teams have stingy Def. With both teams going to be serious playoff contenders and friday night should have that feeling, this game will be hard fought and close. Good luck to both teams. Also did some research Interesting stat. It was mentioned Mcminn is undefeated at home, also Seq is Undefeated on the road. Should be interesting.
