Does anyone know of any high school programs in the mid state area that would be good for an 8th grade pitcher looking to move in to? My original post was a grammatical nightmare sorry!!

Third baseman was man among boys. 6-4 235 signed with USC but will never play there. He will be first rounder. Awesome program!! They left Memphis and went straight to another tourney in San Diego. Third baseman came in relief one game. Threw 3 pitches...91,92, and 93. Ball game.

I am calling for the upset tonight. Dyersburg played terrible at OC and I believe they will play better at home.

Funny thing is that I dont remember anyone throwing 90 + last year besides Gant in the Jackson area. Enlighten me.

I feel that what Dyersburg fans should take from the scrimmage is that they have some solid arms and a good deal of potential. Covington is young and lost a lot from the State Championship team. If Dburg can fill some holes they should have an opportunity to make some noise at the end. Long season though and they need things to bounce their way a little.

Where is the Oak Hill game going to be played?

Dyersburg vs. Southaven and Munford vs. Halls are in one bracket Obion vs. Poplar Bluff and USJ vs Dyer Co. are the other bracket don't know exact times but those are the matchups for the first day of the Dyersburg Christmas tourney. Girls games start at 10am (I think) and alternate every other game with guys in between with the Dyersburg teams playing at 7 and 8:30

Kayla is signing today at 12:00. Ole Miss was a "good fit" for her. She is a class kid going to a class program. Congratulations Kayla!!!!

Kayla is signing with Ole Miss today at 12:00. She is a class kid who got what she worked so hard for. She chose the Lady Rebs over perennial powers Georgia, Vandy, and Perdue. It all came down to her feeling "at home" during her visits to the campus. Congratulations Kayla, you deserve to be proud of yourself!!!!

They lost 4 seniors....catcher,center fielder, shortstop, and pitcher/first base. They have a solid core of upcoming juniors to fill those spots. Strong possibility for them to be stronger next year. Their pitching staff will be as strong or stronger for sure.

Congratulations TCA and the Renfroe girls. I hope good things happen for you in the Spring Fling. Teams, that are made up of players with the combination of talent and good character, usually do well in these tournaments. Enjoy the ride!!!!!
