They did get robbed in a sense because the refs were not calling the way they should have. With that said, Maryville came out ready to keep their game winning streak alive. After the third TD its like some of the Greeneville players gave up until the next half......its like they needed to come up for air! Some of the Devils came out a lil better in the second half but they just were not working together for some reason. My hats off to Trevon Hall because he did have a lot riding on his shoulders & scored the ONLY TD of the game; although there are people talking bad about him. I believe he will excell anyone's expectations!! Good Luck to the the Greene Devils seniors (even Greenway) on playing at a good school! One thing that really upsets me is how they had Barner back but the lack of blocking did not allow him to break loose on a good play.....I would have love to seen that on this last game! I wish him well in Med School( heard that on the radio this morning). Its just a tough break for them BUT its nothing to hold your heads down about....the lose of Greenway had people believin you would not make it this far and look what you guys accomplished! Hold your heads high and look for a brighter future....CONGRATS!!

SO so many people were saying GHS would not make it without Greenway but Hall stepped up to the plate again!! He is AMAZING and so are the other GHS players! I agree with you on this one because things have changed since the Devils traveled to death valley! Now its time to see what happens at Burley this week.

I must say it was a shock to see Barner in the game doing so well but I am so so glad he is back seeing that Hall did not get to run as much as in past games. The DEVILS came out swinging from the start and did not back down; although, the Vikings did not give up at all......good game Vikes! The hype about Shepard was overrated because I believe other players did way better than him. He was seen on the sidelines. Do not get me wrong because Greenway was a heck of a QB but the young men filling his shoes have shown that they can make some really nice plays as well......the coaching staff at GHS is making the right changes to keep on winning.....good luck next week Coach Mc, other coaching staff, and the devils football team. I am looking forward to another good game!!

For as long as I can remember people have parked in that end zone. The improvements which have been made did knock out some of the parking spots. I wish they would have been able to place more spots up top for those folks, and hopefully some day they will.....I would say it is annoying to the refs as well especially when they have to stop the game to tell people multiple times to turn off those lights!! /dry.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="

It is so good to know that someone else saw/ heard how the officials allowed Betsy to stay in the game. [They were holding and face-masking all night long! The slighteset thing the Devils did, they got a penalty for it.] I know several refs who were sitting close by us that were saying one of those officials was feeding the Betsy coaches info....if I was not there myself to see it I would not have believed it!! I guess they had to put on a show for Jason Witten, who was in attendance. The Devils have made the necessary changes; although, people seem to believe they will not make it without Greenway and OH BOY are they proving them wrong!! Hall & Quarles have made adjustments and are doing a wonderful, no an exceptional job as dual-QB's!! Whatever Coach Mc and the rest of his staff are doing, keep it up because I look forward to seeing another well-played game on Friday night!! Whoever is spreading this bull does not know what they are talking about because Greenway is done for the season. His 'antics' off the field has caused him to lose his starting position as the QB as the Greeneville team, and some of those influential people DO NOT want him to play......he has been and will continue to be dismissed from the team!

from what I understand, Ryan will be playing on Friday!!

Two teams that go way back. Can't ask for a better match up in round 1. Who are the play makers on both sides??? Since the QB has been removed from the team, we will have to see if this Green Devils team can make it. They had a good show by the two young men who were placed in his shoes and did quite well. I believe this team will strive to do their best in his absence BUT will run into trouble when they play Sullivan South again!
